When I was there we had brown Roots boots, but you don't have to have them. There were people who had a sketchers version or other ones. Just simple brown hiking boots. It is possible to buy them down there, but not the easiest thing to find, so I might check out some outlets here before I go. It's only one more pair of shoes to pack and you won't have loads of time to go searching around if you can't find them at the outlet.

Oh. We have to buy and wear work shoes????? I thought we could wear sneakers. Do you know ppl; working F & B have to wear Black shoes too? It is MOre comfortable to wear sneakers than black shoes.

LOL@Melissa Of course it is more comfy, but Disney has a very strict idea when it comes to your appearance. You will definitely have to wear plain black shoes, no sneakers. They will explain that to you when you arrive.

    Julia,
Thanks for telling me that. Are all kinds of black shoes ok? I'm thinking whether to get 1 here. A pair of black shoes only costs me HK $50 [ US$1=HK$7.9] [HK$12.5=UK$1]

Just have to be simple black shoes that you would wear for work ( no toes showing ). You can get these kinda shoes for around 10 dollars in Florida. But you can also buy them before you go. If you aren't sure about the type, give your recruiter a call and they will tell you.

They had a "shoe bus" when I was there that went to the theme parks. Don't think I know anyone who bought from them though...most bought their black shoes at walmart or payless or the outlets.

    Hey SHan,
Thanks for your advice. I guess the shops they bought us by SHOE bus don't sell CHEAP shoes. THat's why not many ppl' bough from them????
