Who's going?? had my interview on sept 26th and going feb 9th!

I think your visa is slightly different but for the graduate one the last lot of people (who have just gone in October) went about month before their departure date. I think there is a general rule with visas in that they only give it to you maximum 30 days before the start date. They are starting the programme in January a week late for that reason (delays during the christmas break). I think you can only go to the embassy the month before you are due to start.

Yeh its about a month before, yummy jobs sent us an e-mail the other day to tell us to book it so just over a month, but gove yourself plenty of time for it come through so don't book it for a couple of days before you depart incase royal mail decide to be idiots again!

Congrats! What do u mean by grad placement? I'm on a grad programme but it starts January 20th. I heard a while ago I got in but I had a phone call about it today.

Well... either the people at Disney have messed up or the postal strikes have made my life one big confusion.

I had a letter today from Disney Cruise Line but it wasn't like a 'Congratulations you've been accepted' letter... it was just a check list of 'things I need to prepare before I start' with a form to fill out for a Criminal Background Check. I don't have a start date... position... or anything.

Hmmm...

But I was called by Yummy Jobs yesterday about the packs. I don't think you will get a pack until you are called. I got the impression the packs are sent from Florida and they telephone you first to confirm they have a correct postal address for you.

yeah your right Grad programme....was so excited i got my words mixed up lol!!! i start on Jan 20th tooo!!! how exciting!!! did you say you were working on the cruise boats or at WDW? i will be in Hospitality!!! i got an email saying that my Disney pack should be on its way soon!!! im really worried that this paperwork is going to be mega confusing!!!

Nice to meet you! I'm on the same programme as you doing merchandise! I'm joining the cruise boats in the later half of 2008 after the grad programme in Florida.

If you have facebook there is a group for the grad programme. I'm trying to log in so I can give you the link but facebook is not working too good today and won't let me sign in! Anyway.... if you have it you can either find me and add me (Ben Cowley - Uni Southampton network) or search for the group. I think it's called 'Disney Grad Programme - Accepted January 2008. There's only about 12 of us so far. Don't think there is that many going in January to be honest.
