Who is flying out June 12th??? Anyone want a BUDDY???

Hey hey!! I had my interview in November, and they told me I didn't get it!
BUT, Eric called me YESTERDAY (Valentine's) and told me I got it! So apparently I'm heading down June 12th as well! Hell-yea I'm down for friends! lol

My friend went down and showed me this site, so I've been just checkin out the places and stuff like that... wow... hectic. Nothing but good things have been said, and I'm stoked! I'm leaving from Winnipeg, and I must say, I WILL miss these -40 - -45 days (HA!!!)
Anyhoo, Florida, here I come

 

Haha, I will most definately NOT miss these winter days I spent another 45 minutes waiting for a bus that never showed because it was too cold to start! Agh!

And that is AMAZING news! I can't imagine what a great surprise that would be! Where did you interveiw, and what's your role? June 12 is going to be a great day ;D

I was originally supposed to fly out June 12th!! But now I've been moved to July!! And so far there are only two of us that I know arriving in July so I'm almost thinking of flying over to Vancouver and catching a flight with my only arrival buddy lol.

Hahha yah that's Matt! I didn't know if anyone else from Canada was going to be in my arrival group cuz Eric didn't seem to think so, but looks like Matt saved the day!

Ashley - I think I might have interviewed with you!?.. I'm from Calgary and I'm almost sure I remember you. I showed up 5 - 10 minutes late .. but seriously, finding the interview room was confusing as hell! lol. I'll be working Food & Bev. Am I the only one from Cowtown so far?!

Oh attractions!! .. My brother worked attractions in 2000... in a sick way I wish I was doing it lol. But, I'd rather be making some cash this year!

Close enough! lol... my mom actually lives in Red Deer. I wouldn't say it's my kind of place, but I'm happy my mom enjoys it. It's nice to get out of town and head up for a weekend though. It's pretty peaceful and you guys have this one really great bakery! She constantly tries to convince me to come live with her and attend RDC for performance lol

 

lol I'll tell ya this much, when I got my degree over the past 4 years my time at RDC was more useful than U of A... Smaller classes is SO much nicer! Plus they don't use the curve here so your mark is the mark you earn.

 

Wow, haven't posted anything in a while, is anyone leaving from Vancouver, althoug I did check on a flight leaving from Seattle and it wasn't too bad. Haven't booked anything yet, I leave stuff until the last minute, if anyone is leaving from Van, lettme know if you want a buddy (I have a habbit of getting lost on my own).

 

You showed up late?! And you made it! You must of made QUITE an impression! I was so terrified of being late I was the first person to show up ... a few hours early. Haha!

And yeah hmmm I might of seen you there! I was loud for sure, and probably obnoxious and really sleep deprived! I was running off of pure adrenaline at that point! Aha and I won a magnet in the question round - that pretty much made my year. AH! And getting home was a major adventure for me, too. I do not have fond memories of Calgary at this point, oi!
Oh, and it turns out, too, that the *other* Ashley from Saskatoon got in! I don't know if you remember her from the interveiws at all, but I remember thinking to myself, - "Ha, figures, of course there's another Ashley, and of course she's from my city!". I swear, I'm re-naming myself Agnes or Beatrice because at those odds, no-one'll have the same name as me!

 

Herroww... Im Leaving From VANCOUVER TOO!! We should get together for coffee if you wanna... would love to go down with a new friend.. alittle scary all by our lonesome... I know you already added me to your msn but we are playing tag!!! Cant wait!

Do you live in Van, cause I don't I'm from Kamloops, but the probability of me getting a flight out of there is like next to nothing. I'll most likely leave from Van. its just easier.

 

Hey Ashley...it's Ashley. Ha! Weren't there about 5 of us Ashley's at the interview? Crazy times. I had thought the exact same thing about there being another Ashley from good ol' toon town. Seriously, i guess the odds were pretty good This is the part i LOVE though, Beatrice is my alter ego's name. Hahahhaha. TRUE!!! Anytime i have to go by some other name it's ALWAYS Beatrice. So, i think it would be great if i you go by Agnes and I'll go by Beatrice and we'll forget this whole Ashley thing. What do you think? Hahahahha...here's another gooder.
