Where is everyone flying to?

i got the impression that we book it when we're out there. coz we'll never know right now if we'll have the money to travel or anything. plus she said we get our money back for the flight we paid for at the end of our stay, would that not mean that then it's up to us to get our flight, esp as they wont book our flight in may or whenever and withhold payment for the return flight for a year or more. dunno, most likely am wrong though, usually am!!hehe!

for some reason i was hoping rather than listening to what they said, but was wantin us 2 pay for a return, like an open return ticket when we arrive. but hey i duno, im just gona have 2 work my arse off in the next few months 2 get the money 2 pay them bk once i get there anyway

Its all so confusing isnt it!! There was so much to take in at the presentation that its gonna be hard to recall all the info - would be nice to go and see the presentation again at the february interviews!!

yeah i suppose it was a bit easier for me. because id been through the whole process up until a couple of months before i was due to leave. so all the stuff i didn't know i specifically remembered coz it was summit new.anyway any questions just email jason. he's always speedy to reply. and its best to know than worry.
sarah you probably wont have that much money worries anyway if your f&b just smile sweetly and they'll be throwing tips at you!

Hi Guys, hope you all had a nice Christmas. This is the first time ive posted as ive been off work with the worst flu ever. It has been snowing all night here in Glasgow so its cold and wet

Least this time next year it will be a lot brighter!!!!!! Its my birthday tomorow so I will be thinking a lot about what will be hapening this time next year.

I hope to fly straight from Glasgow, it would be great I have done so a few times but mostly if we stop its in Boston or Detroit.

aww carol hope u feel better. oooh u have snow? my mum said we were due snow in the midlands but non as yet, however havin to drive to work tomorrow im hopin theres not snow, yet to experience drivin in snow haha!!

yeah i know from manchester they connect in new york, chicago, boston & newark depending on airline. i wana know all the details now im so impatient!!

Hi ALL,

Well I am really confused now. I am flying from Manchester on 6th June to Philadelphi, then onto Orlando. However I am not returning until 16th September to travel for 3 weeks, but my return journey says Orlando - Philadelphia - Glasgow!! So now I am worrying as you have said Manchester flights don't connect there, although I rang Jason and he said it must be a typing error as it says Manchester on the computer. ???

My flight has cost £680 - even tho I found it from BA for £520 and from Virgin for £620 but Yummy won't let you book it ourselves Pretty gutted as £160 would come in handy for my travelling.

Ah well, don't want to moan either - least we're going to Florida ;D ;D

 

Wow gem that is confusing, and a bummer u can find it cheaper. see i wana do that but yummy won't let u, its more unpredictable as well being out there for a year.

which flight carrier are u going on from manchester? just wondering as it could b the same as what i will get when going june 21st!

Gem, don't worry they do do flights to philly from manchester - ive flown Manchester to Philadelphia before - when i was doing exchange. Its US airlines. So It sounds correct ther info youve been given i think the flight was around 10 am it was in the morning i remember that much!

As well as all the ones Sara mentioned Delta do Atlanta from Manchester - thats the one they sent the dec manchester people.

I know what u mean about wanting to know what flight carrier etc we'll get - would be good to know more like what time we're be flying out of manchester. If its Newark or Philadelphia itll be around 10 am. But when i was flying to newark a few weeks ago i saw the atlanta flight on the screens it was going a little later 11am/12 i think. Looks like itll be an early start - bet i wont be able to sleep the night b4!

I think they try and arrange it so all the flights get in at around 7.30pm Orlando time - so will be a long day of travelling - especially with the stop in some random US city!!!

Cant wait to be on the plane though!!

yeah it will certainly feel like a long day because of the stop over. but onthe other hand it'll be nice to have a wander round an airport and have some REAL food instead of that airplane crap!

Itll be a long day - can u imagine how tired we'll be at our throw ins i gotta apologise michelle in advance if i dont seem with it! dont think i'll mind if theres water involved itll wake me up!

Itll be fun tho and yeah will def be good to get real food at airport. Theres loads of places to eat at Newark and Philly if we get either of those airports. i had 5 hrs to fill at Newark last wk as well as getting food, theyve got a ben and jerries! yum! theyve also got a spa. i got my nails done and i dunno what vanish they used but 9 days on my french polish has still not chipped gotta be a record for me!

Wow Michelle you'll be on that flight so soon! Cant be long now till u get that flight ticket!
