Are these forms in the seperate visa pack? Or in the Disney one! An email i have from Yummy say that the visa pack will be sent at a later date? But if people have got theirs already - im worried mine isnt coming!

i haven't got my forms through yet either, but i'm assuming thats because I'm in the process of renewing my passport and Disney/yummy won't send me the forms until they know i have a valid passport. kinda sucks, because i want to get the ball rolling with sorting out the visa stuff, it sounds complicated! You guys should phone/email yummy jobs if you haven't got the forms and were expecting to get them.

Did u get the email saying " Visa pack will be sent at a later date"?

yeah i did, but they explained it was because of my passport being sorted out. I got that email a few days after the email about being sent the welcome pack. If there is no reason why you shouldn't already have the visa pack then you should deffo talk to yummy.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it is, I seem to remember reading it in several places! Mine expired in October too, but I thought just to be extra safe I'd get a new one. I talked to Hannah at yummy about it, and she said that while it would have been fine, a new passport just gives more certainty, and that I should just get it renewed since it was almost time for renewal anyway. I'm sure yours will be fine :)

but how come it gives more certainty? thats what i didn't get cos if for some reason u got stuck out there and ur passport ran out im sure theyd let u back over with the fact you got stuck lol and if u ordered a new one and lost it before u went you wouldn't be able to use ur old one anyway cos the corner would be cut off :s i don't know if what she meant by it was just incase u haveto have 3 months, i hope not tho cos im stuck otherwise lol x

more certainty in that you know for sure it will be valid. when does your program finish? I'm getting back on the 4th september, which gave my passport exactly a month until it expired, so with the new one i just know its validity won't be a problem, esp if i want to go traveling afterwards. and as i said for me it just made sense to renew it now, rather than after i get back in september. If yummy haven't talked to you about it and you have the visa forms it should be fine, don't worry!

ohh i c that is risky, i was gunna get my renewed anyway until they told me i didn't need to so i thought i'd save myself £80,

I finish August 20th but im leaving the states on September 17th,

my passport runs out mid November :) x

The US has an agreement with the UK automatically extending the validity of a passport for six months past the passport's expiration date, so your passport only needs to be valid for the period you're in america. So no need to worry!!

Hey does anybody know if you can pick a date to have your visa appointment, or do you just have to take what you're given?! I wanted to go mid-April when I get my student loan (just so I can enjoy London with some dosh aka go shopping!!) I'd like to get it booked now, but wouldn't want to really go till then!

    Hello :)
Sofi - that is the DS 2019 (sorry it's a bit late!)
You can choose when you want your appointment, but within reason - they don't do weekends (dam them!), and you can only have an appointment when one is available!

Keep trying on the forms, eventually they will be done! But if they aren't done in time for your appointment, call to reschedule and hopefully you won't be charged again!!!

I should really pay my SEVIS fee and book that... no time to call until Monday though!

I have just booked mine and at the moment they are only booking until 31st March. You will need to wait a week or two to book later than that.

    I booked mine for the 26th March, 1pm! :D

I most likely won't be able to go down until May - certainly the end of April (the last week) - so guess I can't book mine yet :(
