What's the first thing your going to do on your days off??

Umm tough choice..... I would like to hit MK with a group of people, that would be cool. Although I'm desperate to try out Mission Space/ Everest. Havn't been on either yet. Plus it would be cool to have a look at 'wishes' at MK, its supposed to be amazing but I love fantasmic....... I don't know what to do! ???


At least I've got plenty of time to figure is out! 82 days until I go ;D

 

there is so much to choose from but your right at least we have a long time to do it in

 

Yeah when I graduated they had the cards for everyone who didn't allready go and pick theirs up.

 

As soon as I get a chance I want to go see Wishes

 

Wishes is something special!!! i cried my eyes out the first time i saw it.. and then the 2nd.. and so on.. hahaha

 

Oh god, if it makes people cry it can SO not be one of the first things I do- blubbing my eyes out infront of new flatmates could be an interesting first impression to make! (Well, unless they're doing it too. In which case we can call it a bonding session...)

Awww I can't wait to actually experience all these things I've read about and know for myself what all the fuss is about. And in one week I will!! (Well, prolly two by the time I've got into the parks... but not the point, so soon!!!)

 

Definitely, I'll cry.

Why would you cry at fireworks?

 

Wishes is not an ordinary fireworks show.
It's an ingenious combination of fireworks, music and light. People do often cry because is it so emotional.
Not only that it's about wishes of course, it also has a little storyline, enhanced with a brilliant fireworks choreography.

The right effect at the right time can be very touching.

I saw it only once, but on that time, a few seconds after the end of the show, a guy and a girl came to us asked if we could take their picture. The girl was wearing a ring and it turned out the guy (her boyfriend) had just asked her to marry him during the show. ;D

 

yeaaaah!!! i was working last year on the 4th of July and i sneaked out of the kitchen to go watch the special fireworks and a couple asked me to take their picture cuz he had just asked the girl to marry him!! it was sooo amazing!! the moment was perfect and the fireworks even better!!!

About Wishes.. for me it was specially moving cuz of the storyline and the lyrics.. the end.. where it says MAKE A WISH, TRUST YOUR HEART AND YOUR DREAMS WILL COME TRUE as the sky lights up is specially touching!!! It was veeeeeeeeery hard for me to finally become an ICP so everynight after closing stands west.. it was pretty moving for me to realize once again i had finally made it!

 

what to do on my first day???

start by going to mgm and doing the rock'n'rollacoaster and the muppets show!! then before i leave go get a footlong hotdog and then make my way over to typhoon lagoon and chill out, then go do everest and then make my way to epcot to do the test drive and grab lunch around the world and then finish off by doing philliarmagic and watching wishes!!!

but in my case i'll probably end up waking up late in the afternoon and lazing around the pool and seeing what other people are doing!!

spend the whole day at typhoon lagoon..that place is awesome...but I cannot wait to go to the new seaworld park Aquatica in March 08!!

i think id be goin 2 blizzard beach b4 typhoon lagoon,

the 1st park il visit will b magic kingdom because ill need a slap in the face to tell me im actually there n that might just be that slap lol

 

How long do we get before we actually start working when we get over there, is it like a couple of days to settle in?
