What time will we start work?

LMAO You had to start at 6am Ruben? Haha that is the craziest thing I have ever heard. I know that we opened earlier for New Years ( but I had a late shift starting at 5pm LOL ), but I don't recall anyone ever working so early in the german pavillion. I loved my merch shifts. Earliest was around 9/9:30 and latest 3pm. When I started the park was really busy and then after a few months it slowed down to sometimes only 30 hours per week ( which can really kill you in merch ). You could consider yourself happy if you have the 4 days 10 hours shifts. It's way better to work those 2 hours more per day and then get 3 days off. I never got those shifts

So glad im in merch Julia... 9/9.30 asearliest start time - cant complain... starting at 3pm would be great on Tuesday after PI!

Oh yeah, that's why I did party so much I think. I barely ever had early shifts. I was in a shop where they had the most staff, because it's the biggest in the german pavillion. Sometimes we were 5 people working that day in the shop so one would be opener, one maybe starting at 10:30, 11, two coming in at 1 and one had the closing shift LOL.

That's why it's nice to be higher in seniority when the pick time comes, cause then you pick Tuesdays off!!! Or you get used to showing up to work pretty much still drunk!!! Our managers always insisted on having our monthly staff meetings on Tuesday mornings!! We'd warn them...and they knew...but I think they thought it was funny. I remember several times having to have a certain male cast member jot down any questions he wanted to ask on a plate because he was still drunk and we wouldn't let him speak!!!

It's much better to have 3 days off and have to work long days...you can always try to ER and get off early!! As much as getting out of bed sucks!!!

Well we had the senority rule for the time I arrived. So all the people who were leaving soon had 4 days 10 hours shifts and then 3 days off. Then the park got slow and when I had senority the 4 days 10 hours didn't exist anymore LOL So I was just working same amount of days as the others. I did have Fridays off lots, which was great, because Thursday was P.I. night. I don't remember how many times I came to work with a hangover, I was always dying in the sun.

Usually I like working early, too. But not when living in the Commons. With all the partying you are happy to sleep in the next day. When I work early I am usually not in the mood to drink or party later, because I already made myself cozy at home and am all lazy and stuff. But when you work late you just go directly to a party / Throw-in afterwards! Although I do like working early shifts from time to time as well. You just get to do more stuff!
