What things do people want to do during their year in Disney?

I don't know if I want to go to the Halloween Nights at Universal....I know I will be dragged there though haha.

Growing up I was not really allowed to watch the scary movies because I got to freaked out and almost couldn't draw the line between them haha. I watched Bride of Chucky and slept with a bat on my bed...at 12 years old lol!

But now I do love scary movies, the Halloween films (original) where awesome, but I am bad with things jumping out at me, which is basically all it is haha

 

I want to go to Daytona beach for spring break! Just to say I did.
I want to actually go to Disneyworld. Obviously I'm gonna do this almost every day, but I've never been before and I've wanted to go since I was v little
I want to see the Keys
I want to go to NYC again. I'll go at the end if I can't go before then! Its my favourite place ever!
I want to go to SanFran, Philidelphia, Washington DC and for some reason Texas (I think I'll prob end up doing these at the end)
And loooooooads more!

Go to the Keys - I love love love LOVE st petes beach <3 weekend there would be lovely thanks
Stop in a Disney hotel - sure i will at some point
Go to universal/IOA lots
Go to a halloween horror night - though i hate scary things and will be scared - but you just gotta do it
Go to Vegas <-- One of the most amazing places on earth
Busch Gardens
SeaWorld
All The Different various different attractions on International Drive
CHARACTER MEALS !

many many more things that i dont know, but sure i will do! ahaha :] x

 

Ahh! I forgot Vegas!! Probably my favorite place in the US besides Orlando. Plus I turn 21 at the end of the programme, so during the last month I definitely wanna go to Vegas, and have some fun!

 

I want to do a few things too:

Visit the Keys
Go to Disneyland California
Visit all Disney parks MANY times
Visit all the other Orlando parks (Universal, Seaworld, Busch etc)
Play mini golf!
Cool down at the water parks
Go to various beaches
Visit the Kennedy Space Center
Ripleys believe it or not
Make use of the USA's best food chains (Ponderosa, Wendys, Dennys etc)
Because im a theme park geek i want to go to IAPPA held at the orange county convention centre (but i know its expensive!)
Take looooooads of photos

I want to visit halloween horror nights even though im an ickle bit scared i must say. I work at thorpe park at the moment where we hold fright nights, which are not half as scary as they say horror nights are, and i get the heebie geebies just working them, let alone being a guest, so i wonder how i will react? Think us scaredy cats will need to go in a group haha!

 

Are those nights really scary then? I imagined them as funny, not genuinely scary hehe! Sounds cool though!!

 

I hate scary things so I think I'm going to stick with the Disney Halloween Party... but if it's not too scary I'd love to go

 

Its basically loads of haunted houses, but there all set up as if there the sets from horror movie's..E.g..texas chainsaw massacre..Its so realistic, thats what makes it so scary..

I'd say its well worth going..Prepare to be scared tho!

 

Okay, heres the list:

-All theme parks in florida (disney, universal, busch etc)
-stay in the Grand floridian for a night, Port Orleans French Quarters, and well as many as i can! haha
-do all the cool little things the hotels have to offer - the luau, hoe-down, boat rentals, watch wishes from the beach at the floridian. those sorts of things
-go to washington DC!!! this is tops on my list of places to go!!! Graeme we're going! I want to see obama haha-the florida panhandle - i want to see the old south.
-the florida keys!
-nasa!!! it may be geeky..but real spaceships!! how can you pass that up?!
-Disneyquest! I looks really fun. i loveeee games
-i'm definately go to NYC again - my friend lives there..anyone need a place to stay? haha.
-miami - and hopefully miami ink!!!
-get a tattoo ... see above
-skydive!!!
-character meals!
-take millions of photos of everything. i'm going to be that girl who always has her camera
-tons more


I think a lot of our plans overlap so we'll be able to always find someone to do awesome things with!

 

woop woop that means it won't be me for once ;D

 

theres so much i wanna do while i'm away but heres a couple of things:

• Visit all the Disney parks plus all the universal parks and seaworld/busch gardens!
  Do all the Disney celebrations: Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party (because i'm a massive chicken and don't like scary things that counts me out of Halloween horror nights) etc.
  Try and eat in a few of the Disney Restaurants: Must do California Grill and O'Hana's
  Stay in a hotel: either the Grand Floridian or the Polynesian
  Go to the beach (not too fussy about which one) and at least try out surfing
  Shop...just a little bit
  Finally invest in a Laptop
  Take a rediculous ammount of pictures
  Try to go on all the rides at all the parks
  Take part in the voluntEARS progamme
  Mayb after the programme has finished try and catch a show on broadway or go to vegas and see cirque du soleil's Ka
  Have fun!...

 

I'm sticking to the Disney one for the same reason. I figure that kids go to it, so I should be good!

i went to the disney halloween party a couple years ago when i was in florida and it was really fun. They had all the bad guys out that you don't usually see - like strumboli and the big bad wolf plus all the usuals like malicifant and the heart of queens. and you get to trick or treat all over the park! The 'scarest' thing was before the parade when the headless horseman road down the street on a huge horse! obviously it wasn't scary but really cool. oh and all the characters are dressed up, like piglet was a flower and tigger was a skeleton! i can't wait to go again

 

...I really dunno what to make of this scary night!?!?!? If I can stick with someone I may go and have a look lol.

One of the things I did forget to mention on my last post was :

* Meet as many of you fab people when I get out there, thats what I am really looking forward to doing, you all seem like such a great laugh and full of fun lol.

*I am also looking forward to getting back to Blizzard Beach, I love it there, summit plummit to the lazy river, woooop wooop can't wait lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

we don't get into the water parks for free do we? if i'm right, that kinda sucks, but i suppose disney discount'll soften the blow a bit!

 

for some reason i have a funny feeling that is correct...if it is i am eternally gutted! i love the waterparks, lazy river all the way (altho the wave pool really scares me, every time ive been ive watched someone get rescued)

 

i read somewhere that certain periods we can get in free. not so sure though.

Oh no!....I will have to go plane spotting instead then lol hahahahaha.

 

Things are subject to change and my memory may be sketchy but at the moment CM's who work at the water parks get in free all the time, others get in free over winter, 1/2 price all day in Spring and Autumn/Fall, and 1/2 price after 2pm during the summer peak season
