a silly one, but gettin my lips stuck on the ice creams. happened a couple of times wen i was last on holiday there....lol was a slightly painful way to remember disney but there ya go. and ill always remember the Millenium fireworks display in Epcot and "Golfball 2000" as my little brother called the Epcot globe. was absolutely amazing firework display!! ;D
The popcorn smell i can relate to, i hate popcorn, but the smell of it always makes me remember the times i've spent there. The blue waistcoats on the cast members as well, whenever i see anyone with a blue waistcoast now it brings back memories. The voice of the monorail announcement, and again, the purple signs! I'm slowly but surely turning into a Disney obsessive, lol
The fireworks on Guy Fawkes this year had me thinking about Disney a lot... maybe cause it was really near my interview and I was thinking about it loads anyway ;D
Found something everyone might love.... http://www.relivethemagic.com/ They do a complete Disneyland and WDW dvdsets for only $40 bucks a piece, bargain and they're pretty cool to watch, bet they'd bring back come good memories!
the smell defintely! also the monorail lol oh and metallic tasting water lol form the queues for the rides from the water fountains ugh
The Disney Stores as well, i can't wonder round one without wanting to be at Disney, its not fair to tempt us with all those wonderful treats and not be there
I know its been over a month since someone replied but... Our history class was talking about the monastic life and the renaissance and such over the past few weeks and it made me want to go on Spaceship Earth so bad. I probably shouldn't tell too many people that because they'll think I'm crazy...oh well! and today in one of my classes we were watching a movie about social classes and they played "When you wish upon a star". I wanted to leave and pack my bags! and Itzakadoozies! I had one last night, and I felt very disney-ish.
the smell of humidity (like the one in the jungle cruise or pirates of the caribbean) and raggtime music
the oiley gas smell from the engines that power the rides.. i smell it sometimes when theres a deisel truck in front of me.
What makes me think of Disney?? Talking anybody I met on my program, talking to ramdom people who add to me their msn who are going to/are in Disney. Those WDW and DLRP adverts on TV with the YOMD song. Wearing a suit! Seriously, it makes me think I'm going to a Disney class! In fact everything makes me think of Disney...there's barely a time that I don't (and I have all my fellow program goers to thank for that....it's all we EVER talk about..thank you Kev ). You only have to check out the songs on my Ipod to know what I'm thinking about. I would give anything to be at the front of a jungle boat right now spieling my heart out and singing IASW.
Seeing a plane in the sky makes me think of disney and then the disney music on the advert for WDW and resort Paris
the sun makes me think of disney, lol. sun and heat since i love them... then i think florida, then i think disney
the music of fantasmic. if i could watch that every night i'd still never grow tired of the fuzzy feeling
Talking about smells...the smell the Disney resort rooms have...I very rarely smell it at home, but when I do I immediately think of Disney.
the question should be... what dont makes you think of Disney! im thinking in disney all the time! i even have little mickey mouse icons in all my wall! discret but still mickey lol
It's impossible not to think Disney! I was thinking in PEXOXALoVEPooh's answer... My room is invaded by Disney. Let's count. Meleficient figurine on my desk, Scar baby on my pet, Scar adult on my bookshelf, Donald by my bed, My IP ears over the shelf, MGM Mickey on my bookshelf, on the walls Posters of Disney, and lots of pictres, wait I am wearing an DAK t-shirt! and Disney keyrings hanging from the fan cords... Better I stop looking... i must have Hidden Mickeys in my room! lol RUBEN I don't think Disney, I live Disney.... Wanna go back to my happiest place on earth!
The one thing that makes me think of Disney is when you walk through the front gates of the Magic Kingdom and the music starts to play. You see all the flowers and the train whistle goes off. You see everyones smiles and the kids jaws just drop because they finally know why this is the most magical place on Earth!
