yeah,i have to admit out of my interview group i would say around 90% of us got in - some of us got accepted first and others were on the "wait list" for about a week but in the end most of us got in!
i think ur chances vary by which progamme ur applying for - i think nearlyeveryone who applied for the college/short summer programme got in i dont know if they take specific numbers from each area. when i interviewed the people in the same batch of interviews as me - so 7 other peoplewere all from wales or bristol border - like theyhad decided on who was paired with who by thier location i interviewed with another girl from cardiff
Yes and there is a LOT more spots on the ICP than the CR program simply because you can work anywhere in the park. The pavilions need much less people than the whole resort does so it's tougher to get a spot on one of those programs.
Yeah..im doing the J1 Academic Program..So from what i know i can work anywhere in disney the same as the college program.. I would guess that they really need alot of people for the J1 program that starts in august and september, because thats when alot of the college program people leave, and its still peak time really, so they need people to replace them..And with english people going back to college or university..i wouldn't have thought a great deal would have applied for these programs..
I think everyone has a good chance of getting in. and even if its not first time these things are worth waiting/fighting for. i supoose we'd best begin the inteviews with 'emply me...or else!!!' i never thought about the fact the CP is harder to get into :-\ but then i guess theres more depatrute dates for that than in the others
Hi Guys! How are you? My name is Arturo and I live in Acapulco, Mexico... maybe you know Acapulco because our beaches, resorts and sun time! I want you to know that in November 2006 I sent my resumen to the mexican recruiter... five days ago he sent me an e-mail confirming me my phone interview, that was yesterday and it was a wonderfoul moment! ...the next step will be the face to face interview! I do not know how much time do I have to wait and of course I have no idea what kind of interview will be! :-\Could you be so kind to detail me your personal experience? How was the session or the recruiter? I hope to see you soon! Arturo!
Arturo, hiya I had my face to face interview in london yesterday and it was amazing....the recruiters are very friendly and helpful and everyone felt that their interviews went well-the questions they ask are not difficult but they do challenge you to sell yourself...in a good way!!! We had a presentation aswell which was also brilliant...very good trick to make u wanna get the job even more!!! GOOD LUCK
Which uni're you at? I'm at Cardiff University- in my first year though. Sorry, slight diversion there...
I'm at Cardiff University - 3rd and final year I'm sad to say Loved every minute of it , with the exception of exam periods, and i'm making the most of the last few precious months.

I wondered, would being a guy help my chances? I hope no one takes this as offensive. But seeing as the majority i've seen on here tend to be girls, would being a boy help my chances? make me stand out a little? I'm sure they'd want to try and keep it evenly male to female ratio. Aaah it's all just too much and ive only been signed on here a day! ha but ive wanted this for a long time. I went in 2001 and one of the ladies in the UK pavillion wrote down this address and yummy's one, and gave me loads of details. She was amazing. wanted to do it there and then. sadly i was only 15! But now 5 years later (jeez time flies), im about to finish uni, and the magic has returned! I could think of nothing better than to work there. I even still have the little wishes token that she wrote on!
i dont think it matters about what sex you are there have been plenty of guys turned down as well even tho less apply. i think they hire based on how u interact with the interviewers and the other candidates on the day.
