Wellness Apt.?

Oh that's so exciting! You must have been so pumped! Yeah, I was thinking that too. That'll be a lot of fun!

 

There's a ton of Wellness apartments, don't count on anything!

 

I think they actually try to put people with people from other countries, not saying you won't be put together but I think they want everyone to meet people from other countries.

 

But: they aren't really good at trying... My apartment is inhabited by 3 Germans, 3 Norwegians and 1 Canadian, another has even 4 Germans, 2 Norwegians, 2 French...
They could do better in mixing it up

 

I'm pretty sure they don't try. They just number off down a list of names. It may have been random - but my last name is Haggert and I was with Heto, Hutchings, Hopkinson and a Lin.

 

Is all appartments a 8 person appartment? Or do they have smaller / bigger ones?

 

There are 4 person, 6 person and 8 person apartments. =)

 

To be completely honest: I hope i will be placed in a 4 person appartment. I won't be unhappy if I am placed in an 8 person appartment, but it might feel a bit too crowdy...

What are your thoughts?

 

Ah, well, whatever will be good with me. I'm sure I'll have fun no matter what.

 

I was in a six person and it wasn't bad at all. In a six person, there's two bathrooms, and I got there early so I snagged the room with the bathroom attached to it, so I only shared a bathroom with one person.

 

If it's anything like my flat at uni (there was 10 of us) we all had different lecture times and we all were doing our own thing with our own friends. We got a massive kitchen because there were 10 of us, but there was hardly ever any more than 5 in there at the same time, so it was good.

I'm kinda hoping for a 4 person, but if I don't it wont be a big deal to me.

 

Honestly, there's lots of space in the apartments, I never felt crowded. The only place that ever felt crowded was the freezer because you only get a little freezer on top of the fridge no matter how many people are in the apartment!

Thats is gonna be a problem for me... It is gonna be so difficult to get space for all my Ben & Jerry's :'(

 

Oh boy Ben and Jerry's I might just get really fat from that stuff. I loveee it soooo much. They have way more kinds in the USA then in Canada

I loveee the yogurt in the USA also. Yummmy Boston Cream pie, Strawberry shortcake. Oh boy.
