I actually lost weight over there as it was far too hot to eat anything of much substance. Much of what I ate was eaten at work.
do you get given meals? or do you take food with you? i love american pizza. i would just go over to all stars resorts just to have the pizza
Not in the complexes. I tended to eat at work in the cafeteria thouugh sometimes I did bring in a sandwich and ate that instead.
Ooh that would but good - but too much choice, by the time youve chosen what you want and gone to get it - your break would be over!!
Its not free in the cafeteria but its not that expensve and they have a wide variety to choose from (including Subway) Whether or not you can go up to eat is kind of a grey area. Some say you can and others say not. It is really dependant on your manager. I did quite a lot when I was working and as long as you wear a t-shirt under your shirt and then take off your shirt then you can go up. I used to take off my shirt and everything off my belt and then either go to Cosmic Ray's Pinocchio's Village Haus or the Columbia Harbour House.
Oh wow! I dont think i would be wanting to eat in the cafeteria all the time. Go into the park for something to eat. How long do you get for your breaks anyway?
Depends on how many hours you work...and it also depends on where you're situated...at the Jungle we were so far away from the Mouseketeria that you couldn't get there and back within half a hour! There was the Main Street Breakroom or the backstage Bistro...still a bit of a mission for us Skippers though. At the bakery the Backstage Bistro was right there! A lot of the time I took my own food in...didn't want to spend all the wages on food!
Oh right, ye i will probably take my own food in. Dont know what i would have though because im quite picky with american food.
me too. I dont understnad why they have to put cheese with everything. though i do like the fact they put condiments on the side (i hate english sandwiches forever putting mayo in them.
At the bakery I was allowed a drink when I went on break...but otherwise no food unless a manager said so. Thats the rule with most F&B locations... you can't just take anything! Sometimes a manager would bring us over left over hotdogs and fries from caseys...and sometimes we were allowed the sandwiches that were about to go out of date. But very rarely.
Oh well, its more important to hydrate yourself, so a drink is fair. I think i would just bring a wee packed lunch with me.
