WE ARE ON THE WAITING LIST - or if u have been & have any info!

Ya it is good to stay positive. It is not very Disney like, being negative about things. They wont want to hire negative people. They want to hire people who can be positive even in time of uncertainty. I know it is tough though cause you want to know what your going to do about jobs and such. I mean I was not going to change jobs if I was leaving in July. But now that I am leaving in December I so went out and started looking. So I know it must be hard with that. But think positive. I have a good feeling next year at this time we will be looking back on this with a laugh as we are chilling in Disney World. (Everyone I met was friendly, enthusiastic and fun people. So I believe you all have what it takes to get there, it is just finding space for you all.)

 

My concern is what to do in the meantime... should I take a lame job or try (hasn't worked too well) to work in theatre)

Sharpay the waiting list is basically that they havent decided what date your going down at. You have been accepted as a disney employee that just havent placed all the job spots yet.

No not scary just seems like a long wait to find out when you go. people do get rejection letters. I think they hire for so many things they just havent figured out what days everyones going but dont want them to know they have a job with them.

 

Ilovetink and Fabulous Tessa, you two are awesome. I would still be upset about waiting list if it weren't for you explaining it. I hope we hear something this week.

 

The first time I applied, I was put on the waiting list. I applied in the March, and didn't hear a word until late April. I was there in that September. So don't worry, it worked for me.

Waiting list people good news. I have talked to a lot of people now (sorry im obsessed) There were rejections letters sent. I have had a few messages from people who have told me they got them. So everyone let out that breathe they were holding. they would not send the waiting list if they didnt know they could take you! And remeber the Danadian pav. is HUGE compared to most.

yes that is good news that Rejection letters were sent out so that is good. It was not that he just did not want to reject you guys, so that helps I am sure. Bet in the next couple of weeks you guys will be finding out when your going down. Maybe with all the work Eric has been doing lately he is rather busy to have everyone calling at once so is doing it in groups but wanted to make sure you all were still notified about going. So that is good to hear. I really want to find more people from my date. So I know who I will be going down with though I am sure most of you don't want my date. LOL. But better then nothing. So maybe I still have a chance of hearing from other Canadians who might be traveling with me.

i really hope all the positive things u guys have been saying about the waiting list applies to ICP people as well!

I agree, I am very sure thats it, because otherwise everyone else would know their dates in sept. and so on.

Well im glad i made some people feel better, I know when I found out i felt a lot better to.

 

ya totally it makes me feel better.. I just don't know what to do in the mean time and its really bugging me! I do hope we get to hear soon!!!!!!!! It makes me feel way better because everyone else is being positive about it too ;D

 

Just keep busy with work or volunteering thats what im doing. Ahh its only been like 2 days since we heard and im ready to hear more lol.
