thanks!! seriously nobody loose hope!!!! two people from canada just got the call!! it's all very exciting!!
Ok so I know someone from the UK pav is self-terminating and heading home on Wednesday. Not to say that anyone will get a call, but thought you all might like to know. Shows that people do leave. I sincerely hope one of you gets a call, but don't want this to get your hopes up in any way.
dan, why dont u text me anymore? This kind of info is really something u should contact me with.... ???
Oh i know who you mean Shes F&B and theres a merchie going on Friday! so hopefully good luck for you all x
gotta be hard to go through this whole process, then when u get there, after a while you realise you cant do it and decide to drop out gutting
yeah! its not for everyone, i personally love it, and i think the job is really fun! and the person in merch is too homesick or something like that im led to believe
it makes me wonder why some people apply, we all know we will be away from friends and family for a year. i suppose you dont know wot it will be like untill you get there though.....
Happy belated Canada Day and happy 100 days on the opportunity list to Canadians from the early 2009 interviews! Okay, 103 days as of today, but who's counting?
I've probably explained this earlier in the post but here it is again (by the way I'm on the UK waitlist). After interview you may get either a rejection, offer of a role with date, or waitlist notification. The waitlist is not in a garuanteed place for a job and as so you should search for other employment. If a person already working out there leaves for any reason e.g. homesick or family emergency then somebody needs to replace them. This is where the waitlist comes to play. A person on the waitlist will be contacted and asked at any time(usually by telephone with at least a months notice) to come over and work for the company as their replacement so they have sufficient Cast Members in each role. Depending on your country there may be slight specialisms within what I have just said, but generally you will be on the waitlist for about 6 months, at which point the waitlist is created from the people who have had the most recent interviews (so you'd need to keep on applying each interview session to try and get offered a position outright/get put back on the waitlist). Good Luck in getting a role Andrew
