yeah i was, wicked Queen Ana! unfortunately i can't remember u cos i dunno what u look like! sorry that sounds really bad! theres a few folk from the glasgow interviews on here! tis quite cool!

 

wow i just realised Heather...who was there too and on here she must have left by now...today was her leaving day!

(don't worry if you don't recognise me i didn't eiher it's just that heather told me a hazel from our group got in and i just put 2 and 2 together teehee my memory aint that great!!!!)

Hey! Just trying to steal some hints on a cheapish places to get those photos done in london? I haven't got my head around all the visa stuff yet but will definitely pay more attention to detail as i thought normal photo booth photo was good enough! eek. x

 

Wel guys I got the photos today. Klick through the town done them. Just ask for us visa photos. You get 2 pictures for £5.
So that's another thing out the way, getting everything ticked off my list now to get.

it has been ages since the interviews!! its quite crazy how time flies!! when do u fly out?

wicked queen ana - how bout u, when do fly out? ive got 16 days left til i go!! woohoo!!

had my visa interview last week - o.m.g it takes ages! it does take the 4 hours that they say it might! (and a bit more!!!) or it certainly did for me! and its not exactly ne thing fancy inside the embassy!! but hopefully should get my visa next week so it will be worth it!!

 

the interview takes 4 hours or is it mostly just waiting around????

Just back from Belfast. my appointment was at 9 and i was finished by 9.50.
Belfast is well faster than London !!!

 

I phoned up loads of places today and people are quoting me £25!! IS there anywhere in Ayrshire that people know to get US visa photos? Thanks so much!! Anyone risking it with UK passport photos?

 

Do you have a KLICK near you? I know Ian mentioned in another thread that he got them from a KLICK store for £5?

I went yesterday to a Max Spielmans in Prescot (near Liverpool) and they charged me £5 for the two VISA pics...

dont be overpaying... £25 thats disgusting...

 

I do have a couple of Klicks near me, phoned them today and they said they didn't do it! ??? The pharmacy place in London (back sheet of visa docs) looks like a good option, really near the Embassy so might pop in on my way! Leaving it to last minute but will save me £20!

I fly out June 20th so not long left to go now! It still seems like yesterday that we were all at the interview scary how fast time flys! Just got my visa stuff through today so gonna book my appointment on monday morning and look forward to the long wait in the queue! Yeay!

Just putting this one up again for anyone going for a visa appointment soon.

I went for mine today in Belfast with an ordinary UK size passport photo and nothing was said about it! In fact, this is my 4th US visa and I have used ordinary photos everytime. Don't think it's anything to panic about! :

Just make sure you make the visa payment before you go.................I saw at least 3 people sent away today to make the payment at the bank next door!!!!

I have my date...August 3rd...... now it gets a little scary....

 

I also took a photo from the normal booths and that was fine, they granted me a visa anyway so you should be fine
