Hiya, I have another visa que!
When it says previous visits to us does it mean when we've been there on hol (or am I being really dumb?!)?
And if it does, do we have to put exact dates, cos I really can't remember!

Yeha, thats the way I took it anyway. I just checked through my old passport and checked what the dates were. there is another section for non-holiday visits that asks you if you've ever had a visa before.

Where it asks for your passport issuer, it asks for a city aswell. I've just put Great Britain as thats all it says in my passport? Is it ok to leave that space blank?

Also, when it asks for your current job... i'm unemployed (resting) over the summer, so should i put unemployed or put down my last job as i only finished a month ago?

I just put 'none' for employment and occupation (and then was depressed for hours over my uselessness ::)) so I think leaving it blank should be fine. As for city of issuance I just checked where the passport offices are (London, Liverpool, Peterborough, Glasgow, Newport, Belfast) and figured it out. I only got a new passport a few months ago so it was pretty easy, I was living in Chester when I applied so I had to send it to the Liverpool office, so I just put liverpool.

I imagine they'll go over any problems (if any) when you get there so you can just explain it to the person there I would think.
