It was my birthday on Tuesday, and got really upset, cos if i had got in i was supposed to get a new set of suitcases and lots of other bits and bobs i would have needed for Florida :'( But instead I just got loads of Disney stuff, my family and friends thought it would cheer me up but i think it made it worse!! Can't knock em for trying tho lol
Oh that's a toughie! Poor you. Just came at the wrong time. Still, Disney stuff is nice, what did you get? Although it can't compare to the real thing or the knowledge that you're going... There's still hope for us! My mum keeps asking me what I want for birthday and Christmas and I can't give her an answer cos it all depends on where I am next year. There is also the small matter that I haven't told anyone about being on the waiting list yet...
good luck everyone, i was on the waiting list too and i made it here, so there is so much hope!! Just to let you guys know, merch are really short staffed right now, and us in f&b are really over staffed. They send so many people home from work everyday in f&b and extend the people in merch to longer hours, so I really dont get why they aren't sending over more people for merch! ???
Really? They said most of the jobs they had were for f&b...how weird? How long were you on the wait list for then? It seems like we've been on it forever and its only been just over a week really!! xxx.
Thanks Jo! I got loads of Disney DVD's, which now takes my collection up to about 40 i think! Doing well!! And loads of HSM stuff, Camp Rock soundtrack, Princess fleecy blanket lol, Disney Jigsaw, Winnie the Pooh snowglobe, clothes, vouchers, etc etc Cmon waitlist gang, if we all think happy thoughts, then Michele might feel sorry for us and ring us all this week lol worth a shot right? ;D

Did anyone e-mail Michele after they got their wait list e-mail? I e-mailed her back straight away, then e-mailed again last week. It was only after the second e-mail that I got the automated out-of-office reply. It said she'd be back in the office on the 10th! I'm confused.... ???
I e-mailed Michele to find out when i could re-apply if i don't get a position and i got her out of office reply too but i haven't heard anything since...
I emailed her after I got the first email and I did get a reply. It basically said that we were still being considered so it wasn't a complete 'no' but if we do want to re apply we would have to ask Michele to take us off the waiting list and we could apply straight away, otherwise I guess we would have to apply in the summer. I decided to stay on the wait list just in case and then I am going to apply again in the summer if I don't get it. Hey, I like the idea of having a degree in waiting...at least I would have a degree of some description!
Michele e-mailed me back today and apologised for not replying sooner, she said she has been out doing interviews which i assumed! She also explained that if i don't stay on the wait list i can re-apply in January but i'm the same i think i'm going to stay on it and just keep my fingers crossed even though it's killing me!
Well since Beth got the call today, I'd say that there's still hope for us all! We just need to be - dare I say - patient!?!?! The waiting is killing me
