UK phone interviews this week!!!

i dunno say something like "Disney is such a huge, well recognised company and brand that has a fantastic reputation blah blah blah that i would be exeedingly proud to work for"

obviously worded better than that and stuff..but you get my jist

 

Just had mine this morning - the nerves kicked in big style about 15mins beforehand lol. Got asked the same questions as what people have said so far! I panicked a bit though and didn't answer as well as I should have to a couple of questions I think!
Just got the agonising wait now...

I'm hoping the f2f is late september (if i even get that far!), since I'm in Disney World of all places from 30th aug for two weeks! Wonder what they'll do if you can't make it?!!

 

Well mine is like...in a minute and despite being quite a seasoned Disney interviewee...I'm scared out of my wits! Argh. I just hope I don't talk to fast. Ive got the glass of water ready LOL

 

i'm glad mine was in the morning. i'd have needed sedation is they made me wait until afternoon

How about that you love what their doing with fulfilling peoples dreams and that you want to be a part of it, and that you love the oportunity to meet people from all over the world. And of course that WDW is the best place to learn guest serivce etc...

It went good thanks! Got asked questions already mentioned and I chatted for a bit; nothing more than I expected really, being a seasoned Yummy interviewee.

I'm just glad it's over; now I get to worry for 2-3 weeks!

I worked out an answer to why I want to work for Disney...I had it weeks ago but forgot all about it. It's my secret weapon lol, even though I didn't to use it this time!

 

I'm in the same boat :S I go away 8th - 20th so gonna be a bit screwed if it's at any other point. I've heard they're generally late sept though so will have to wait and see.

Had my interview this morning and think it went pretty well, but I probably went on a bit too! I was really nervous though! And same thing happened to me, wanted F & B as first choice but Michele said I should go for Merchandise as that's what I have experience in as F & B can be really busy Disney prefer people with experience. Either way is cool with me if it all helps to get me closer to it!

just had my interview, messed up a bit when i got asked how to describe a yorkshire pudding, apart from that it all went fine!

 

You got asked how to describe a Yorkshire Pudding????? What a random question!!
What did you say? lol
That its round and crispy and goes well with a roast?? haha

 

Because i'm from yorkshire and i had to say whats famous about it!

I couldn't describe it at all, I said it was..err..spongey? LOL


I then said i'd get them to come in to the rose and crown and try it because its really hard to describe.

Well after not getting much sleep last night coz i was so nervous about my interview I got an email from Michele this morning and shes had to postpone my interview till next week At least it gives me a few more days to revise and things though...
