UK phone interviews this week!!!

Just had my email saying about the phone interview, I asked for mine on the Thursday the 7th coz im on holiday until then, im so excited/nervous Good luck everyone xxx

 

I gots mine on Friday, at 2.45, at least its an afternoon

wont sound half asleep! =]]

Im actually quite nervous and shocked i've even got a phone interview

after they declined me, and then i applied again, within the same week and they was like "oh okay we'll hold on to your cv" ;D

 

My interview is now confirmed for 10am on Friday morning.

I'm quite nervous but i've got some time to come up with some good info on my local city

 

12.30 friday!
better gen up on my home town and what makes the UK so great....

Well...I'm in Turkey at the moment, cme on to check my emails yesterday, not expecting anything and i had an email from Michele about phone interviews!!!! I was SO excited...i ran down to the pool to tell my mum and dad!!!!

My only problem was that the 2 weeks they are doing phone interviews i am still going to be over here...however I have arranged for mine to be on Monday 4th August at 1pm!!! (I need to remember thats 3pm turkish time!!!!) Haha.

Good luck to everyone with their phone interviews...i'm busy trying to prepare by the pool...going back there now!! Thanks for your info disney princess!!

Does everyone who applied get the phone interview or would they have already knocked out the least qualified people from getting a place after reading the applications?

Many thanks for your words of advice - Sounds like you got on OK
I have my interview tomoz, i have arranged for my interview in my lunch break. I work in the city of london and everywhere is so noisy so I am racking my brain where I can get away to some piece and quiet so I can concentrate on the interview.

Its very scary and exciting to think that we could all be one step closer to living the dream in DISNEY.

Mines tomorrow at 12.15, im totally bricking it tho!! I have to try and escape from the office so i can get some peace and quiet and try and concentrate!!
Just penning a few answers now cos i just know im gona get tongue tied and my brain's gona fall out!

No not everyone gets a phone interview... I've applied before and the first time they got back to me saying due to an over-whelming response from applicants they couldn't consider me at that time so I applied again and that time they said sorry there are people more qualified in hospitality etc than me. So it was 3rd time lucky for me finally getting a phone interview this time round!

so just had my phone interview...
my voice was shaking when i spoke, but she seemed to say 'excellent' and 'very good' to nearly all my answers
so went well i think!

 

You must be well pleased! What questions did you get asked? If you dont mind sharing .......

 

i was asked why i want to work for disney, and to give an example of when i have shown a high level of motivation.
then i was asked all about my home town
and then if ive ever lived independantly, and how i feel about living with people from different cultures
thats about it i think

 

Ooooh that motivation one i havn't heard of yet, thanks for the heads up tho, will have to start thinking about that one!!
