I got my visa papers this morning .. Did you all get them as well?

 

Yeah Russ they came through this morning along with my CRB!! It's all official now, when are you planning on going to the embassy?

 

Yeah I got my CRB as well! I can go to the embassy whenever really, when were you thinking? And what's the DS-160 form? Is that the one we have to do online?

yeah i think that's the one you fill out online...

i'm proper wanting to put off booking the appointment... £100 is a lot to pay for a phone call

yeah i was thinking maybe about $500 but it may be either less or more than that depending on if i can be good these next two months...

I am filling out the form online at the minute it's a longwinded one for sure... every time i answer yes i wish i hadn't because another 4 boxes pop up...

i've actually booked in for this wednesday... my family surprised me with a trip to london for my birthday which is this tuesday and wednesday so when i got my visa papers through they said i should see if there were any appointments on wednesday... it saves me doing an extra trip down to london which helps money wise... which i know scuppered my 'lets all go on the same day and meet up' idea.

i knew i had to pay for the visa but i totally forgot about the program assessment fee that disney charge you for your accommodation so i'm going to have not go out AT ALL before I fly...

 

Me and Claire have gone for the 15th August cos it meant it was cheaper for hotell stay over on the sunday for Claire...she has booked itt and I'm phoning tomorrow to book mine...if I can't get the same day I'll have to book an earlier one because I need my passport back to be able to go to spain the last week of august.

 

i've finally finished my visa application... it took me a few attempts but i would recommend using the Picture Tool when you are trying to upload the picture. It shows you how big your head should be and let's you zoom in/out so that it fits then crop it... that worked for me...

happy filling in guys... it's getting REAL people!!!!

 

i'm booked in for the 1st august...gonna leave the form for when i get home from work...need to sort out a photograph

under two months now...getting very real now!!!

 

Just booked for August the 11th, I'm not looking forward to this form though!! hehe! 57 Days! :-D

I went for 8...which thinking back was silly cos I live in london and it just means I'm going to have to get on the tube at silly o'clock but oh well...leaast iit will be done

 

I know!! It's a bit of a pain and an added expense!! I'm making a day of it though and being a tourist!!

 

i would definitely recommend getting there half an hour early... i had an 8am appointment and arrived a little before 7.30 but i was 7th in the queue so all in all I was done and out by 9am which was better than i ever could have imagined

 

i'm off to the embassy tomorrow wish me luck!! just stressing about finding the places to put bags and stuff...hopefully what dad said will make it easier to find!!

 

Same, might see you there alex.. I'm just leaving my bags in the hotel I'm in and coming back for them later..

 

Ahhh that ssounds much easier but I live in london so no point getting a hotel lol

 

And yea mighht see you there I'll be the one looking like a complete nervous wreck!!
