Uk Pavillion Septemeber 2011

Got told yesterday i am taking over somebody's programme and flying out 26th July. Will be working F & B in Uk pavillion. Guess i will see you guys out there.

Hey russ. Yeah i am doing 9 months till end of April 2012. Doesnt worry me too much its not full 12 months. I done 3 months on an ICP in 2009 so kind of makes up for it.

 

That's so exciting, congratulations! Cant believe how soon you'll be out there!

Hey Russ,

Arrgh, you must be getting even more excited now!! We have booked our flights for the 17th with Air France via Paris. The all stars sports seems to be coming up the best price on hotels.com at about £50 per night, and includes the bus transfer. I think the girls are at the all star music, but I'm not sure how close they are.. I hope that helps.

I've still to sort our hotel and insurance, ergh, best get on that!! We will be at the embassy sooon guys! Omg.. the looooong wait is finally coming to an end! Bring on the Sunshine :-D

 

ohhh thats so exciting...feels much more real when flights and hotel are booked yea were at all star music purely cos it was the cheapest one at the time

I still need to get my insurance but all in good time i'll understand and get it all done eventually lol

Woooo hey guys hope you're all keeping well! Haven't posted on here for ages, but I'm baaaack yeah Russ I was looking at the STA insurance and flight deal but the insurance was so expensive it was ridiculous! I'll probably just opt for a cheapy four month one and then transfer onto Disney insurance.

Looks like it's gonna be all-stars all round then ;D the sports resort is coming up cheapest so we'll probably book that. It's either that or the Sheraton on I-drive north which is cheapest but it would be great to stay with all you guys, plus we'll have a rental for road trips!! Can't wait, so excited to finish up work and get out there now.

And yeah, I'm up for booking the embassy on the same day. When are we supposed to get our petition?! And one more thing too I still haven't got my CRB back yet I sent it on the 6th May, how long is it supposed to take? I hope I'm not a criminal

yea doing the visa the same day sounds like a great idea make a proper day of it.

insurance is definitly the next thing on my list...so i'll have to start looking into all of that in more detail now!!

I'm getting way to excited now...ive worked out ive only got like 6more weeks at work...maybe 7 if i decide to go for a bit of extra cash!! but still thats crazy soon lol...I cant wait

 

Doesn't seem like you got a bad deal then Russ! Your points will be fine, provided they're not from hit and run haha. Blah to insurance though, that's the one thing I resent paying most but, never know when you might need it.

I know how you feel Alex, I'm sat here now dreading the thought of going to work in a few hours but then I think I've only got 43 days of it left (not that I'm counting) woooo! There's so much to do I don't even know where to start, I prograstinate enough on packing going for a two week holiday never mind a 52 week holiday! How many bags you all thinking of taking? I don't think I can pack my life into one 23kg bag. Hmmm...

 

Hahaa I need to work out how many days I have left!! That will maake it go so much quicker!!!


Weeelll I have 2bags cos I already paid the moneys for the 2nd bag because I know I'm going to need it....2 double wardrobes and two sets of draws is not going to fit in 2cases let alone 1 lol

 

I'm trying to attempt a minimalist packing of clothes. although i'm going to go overboard on DVD's and essentials

 

I intend to take a minimal amount of stuff then go shopping when I arrive! x

 

Hey all, the anticipation leading up to going is one of the best parts, so in an odd way, enjoy the planning and the logistics, its actually quite fun!

In the past, 'arrival groups' have arranged big group meals somewhere in central london (TGI's covent garden seems to be a favourite) and if you are all planning to try and get Visa appointments on the same day, might be a brilliant opportunity to meet up, socialise and have a nice meal together? If you've not already done so that is! They are fun and it also helps you to recognise friendly faces when you get out to Orlando too!

Most of you have got flights and insurance sorted, they're two of the hardest parts, so good luck!
