But big congratulations to everyone - so happy for all of you, particularly after all the waiting and build up you've had. Really enjoy this time, I don't think I've ever been so excited as when I first got the news (though that might be eclipsed in Sept when I actually go!) xx

 

Oh wow! That's amazing! What date in December? I start December 6th. I was waitlisted in October last year found out my date in April this year.

 

How exciting people are starting to plan for when they go!!! I go out March 6th 2012!

I can't wait, this has been my dream!!!

it's really starting to feel closer. can't believe it was in november we got the news and now it's june. where did the time go???

food and bev FTW! of course, the changes in the rose and crown will take some getting used to... and I really am NOT looking forward to being in chippy again. urgh. hats. :-\ but am really excited to push to get into service again. I really loved it.

okay at times I hated it, but I look back on it with love! ;D

 

what changes are there in the Rose & Crown??? We're going there to eat in August (in preparation for March of course )

it's small things mainly since when I last worked there. I know they've changed all the table numbers round, which will confuse me at first! plus obviously the menu changes every 4-6 months anyway, the chippy is no longer harry ramsdens... etc. just small things.

they may have moved the tills out of the chippy too.. they used to do that only for the busy days when they expected HUGE crowds but I heard rumours it was a permanent change these days.
