Hmm...can we not buy duvets out there? Proper ones?

Yeah, you can buy them out there, I think...it's just that I'm travelling on my departure date so might not have time to pick one up straight away! x x

 

I think they have these thigs called conforters which are like quilts that have an undersheet which are a single sheet of fabric basically like what you get in a hotel!!!

I'm sure they must have duvet somewhere but i want to have one my first night!!! ;D

Red, that sucks about your knee, I'm sure you'll be fine, if not we can be in the same boat together, no doubt my leg will play up with something... Fingers crossed that you can put the op on hold for a year. I've had lots of crutches experience I could help you with physio etc.

Didn't really know what to do about a duvet. But I guess vaccum pack is the way forward. Although I doubt it would be needed much as the nights are pretty warm. Will miss my home comforts...but I dont really have a "home" . x

Dont be fooled, the air conditioning is switched on permanently in the apartments or so I'm told, so nights will be pretty chilly.

Lucy, I studied at Stirling University for 4 years, i don't know how i feel about the course to be honest, i feel like i know more about marketing after it than tourism its self! It was ok but not as exciting as i thought it would be - but the moduls wern't so fun they might be different else where! But still it has worked in my favour for alot of jobs and now i can say i am doing Disney as part of my degree lol x

 

yay, Callum and Andrea you're my arrival buddies, Im starting the 2nd nov too! Although Im doing merch, and everyone else on that date seems to be F&B.

Dont worry Kat, Im sure there will be others starting with you, I thought I was going to be on my own and now theres like 3 other people!

6 months to go, but least we all know our start dates so i can plan everything else around it. Can't believe we miss Halloween by like 2 days... i am tempted to go out a bit earlier and see it, but i'll wait and see x

I know, it was 6 months on sunday, but i think it will go faster than we expect.
Im not too bothered about missing halloween to be honest. I always forget about it anyway, and then have a mini heart attack when I open the door to a group of small monsters, ghosts and witches! Quite glad to be avoiding that! We do miss bonfire night, but with illuminations and wishes who needs english fireworks in the rain?! ;D

Don't forget though, if you miss it this year, you'll still get to see it next year...I still find it odd to get my head around that lol.

Halloween at Universal is meant to be really good. They have a disclaimer apparantly on the ticket saying if you suffer from heart conditions, nervous disposition etc etc then don't go. I've heard people chase you down the street with chainsaws....not sure if I'm up for going yet or not haha.
