UK Pavillion 2010/2011

does anyone know if the scuzz gnome and scuzz dog are still being passed around?????? (i hope you all know what i mean when i say scuzz.....?!)
there was a garden gnome with a painted on england top and a bulldog statue that were being thrown-out when i was there,just wondering if they are still going round????

I recall the gnome being pass down somewhere but i believe the bull dog wasn't
Nemo got most of those old stuff and past them down. u remem,ber the carebears and the 2 huge spider man?

 

awwwww man,yes,the care bears and the spiderman were going when i was there!!!!!!! god, i miss it so much.
I didnt have much to throw out,i gave away a lava lamp and random stuff but nothing very exiting!!!!
what apartment were you in? I was in 436 first and then 2411 (both at the commons,patterson wasnt even finished when i was there!!!!!)

 

The UK still have 436 but its with girls.

I was in 125. we called that area Albert square.... majority opf UK in that area were under 21 so they use to go to my house to drink.... so obviously i was "The Vic"

The Lava lamp is still around btw!

Yeah ive heard all sorts about the "initiations".....hmmm :-\............ lol

 

Really it's not bad! Compared to other countries anyway. I'm not going to say what happens because it would ruin the surprise, but is basically just a lot of fun and you might get a little embarrassed, depending on your confidence!

But it is a great opportunity to meet the majority of the UK pavilion and for the UK to get to know a bit about you!

Yes ignore the rumours about Throw-ins... people mix them up with Initiations for UK Lads and lasses. Besides its all changed recently


Initiations are to do with Lads and Lasses.

 

Yeah it was there's. The Guiness plack deffinatley got handed down...can't remember who to though lol.

Matt did indeed sell Dora...dunno how much for though, but her new owner Sophie loves her very much (and it's hilarious because Sophie is tiny lol)

 

I pretty sure you did. I didn't go to my one, I went to the next one with Emma, Joe and Nics.

 

awww as long as she looks after Dora.

Judging from the date you guys have another batch of ppl leaving right? practise your Shotgun scream..... and find a gd location. oh and bring a drink & fan!

When i finish my 6 months on the Cruise i'll be spending a week or so in Orlando..... I'll show you how Lads and Lasses were really like. I'm Sure Holly is already doing that tho!

 

I keep hearing this lads and lasses thing mentioned...what the hell is it about?

 

on a monday night the girls from the UK pavillion all meet up for drinks,drinking games etc (UK lasses) and the guys meet up and do the same (altho they are a bit more hardcore than the lasses...!) and they are the UK lads,on mondays all the girls and guys from all the pavillions meet (canadian girls,no ma'am = canadian guys,mexican girlsand mexican guys etc) usually meet up after work in someones appartment and then head out to a bar or something......mondays are like a friday night,everyone makes the effort to go out and tuesday morning is generally spent with a large hangover! ;D

its a great place to catch up with ppl especially when its peak season and everyone works crazy hours.

UK Lads was great until Canadian girls "Kidnapped" me and i joined them.

Both of them were equallly amazing. especially when you meet up with Internationals.

Drinking tip for the Hangover...... drink moreeee! lol

 

sounds pretty decent!...kinda like student nights at uni where everyone makes an effort and the drinks flow freely! awesome!

 

What if you are under 21?? Can you still go but not drink??

 

..... errrrr you should go... I never influence underage drinking but i can assure you, you'll have fun!

 

yeah youl be able to drink at lasses,noone cares at lasses! they used to try and go out to places after that let under 21s in,altho of course you wont be able to drink but by the time you get there you would be pretty drunk anyway!

 

lol i wasnt sure if i was allowed to say they can drink but yeh you'll love it.... BTW Jackson Holly Bailey is @ Lasses at the mo, she married one of the chefs Casey.
