Yeah I had that problem, would have cost a similar price to red's but ended up 100 more because I left it a week!!! I think the sooner you book the better!

Weekend...well my last exam is tomorrow afternoon- the tomorrow as of 4 will be enjoying cocktails by the river, then heading home for the week on sunday until everyone else finishes exams!!! x x x x

Good luck for your last exam Kat! I'm sure your do well. I had my last exam on Monday...felt so good to get it over and done with but I will miss education :(. Just hope I have passed. Yeh the prices keep going up at a crazy rate, but BA are fairly cheap at the moment :).

Don't wish the time away :p I know you want to get there, but the time will fly so fast during the program that you will forget half of what you did! My reason for a blog ;) hehe. At the end of my program it felt like I'd only been there a month, rather than 14 and a half!

Am loving the costuming thread...yeah, may need to buy some clothes...anyhoo I took the liberty of making a UK facebook group as I know not everyone uses these boards it's:

    http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=119963324713701#!/group.php?gid=119963324713701

Add people you know who are going that I don't, and hopefully it may be easier to organise a meet up over the summer on there? x x x x x

    Hey Newbies,

Listen despite i'm no longer there... (for now!) I just want to Highlight what DISNEYGIBBS said.

Cherish your first few months and try to remember how it was because before you know it... its gone.

I was there from July 2008 till August 2009 and it was beyond "Magical".

Keep the UK Traditions alive (you'll soon found out). Make lots of friends from all the countries (especially Canadian FnB..... again you'll find out) and you are all set.

I'm starting on the Disney Magic in July and i'll be making my way to the UK Pavillion from October. Before then if you guys have any questions or tips you need regarding livin in the "Disney Bubble".... ask! or even ask DisneyGibbs (Louisa!)

Btw Louisa, let me know once they tell you your cruise.... bring on the Southener Reunion..... just the TWO of us lol.

    Lots of love,

    Tino

    aka UK Lads- Yellow Pages

    &

Canadian Girls- One of the B'ys

couldnt agree more, the time passes so quickly when your there and its so easy to take it for granted and to let stupid things spoil your time - enjoy every single day, even if you have a rubbish shift at work or your room mates pi*s you off - remember how much you wanted it and how exited you were before you arrived! It will be the best year of your life but it passes so fast and before you know it - its time to come home!

UK LADS & UK LASSES = best nights ever!!!!!!

    i miss it every day....

    ENJOY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Yes.... BEST NIGHTS EVER until i got kidnapped by the Canadian Girls and tied up (You'll find out) lol

I constantly say you'll find out because you can't truely describe what your experience is going to be coz everyone's is different, but one thing for sure... IT'LL be amazing!

One tip to get you guys started... GO TO THROW-OUTS..... TVs, PS3s, Airbeds, oooooo i remember throwing out a George Foreman Grill.

Oh and you gotta go to Cowboys every Saturday!

    Jackson... do i know you?

haha throw outs! so much stuff FOR FREE!!!! Newbies - go to them, youl never need to buy any new stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope,i dont know you, i left April 2008......

noone can ever know what its like until they have been, its something you cant explain or describe - its just something that you have to go and do and see for yourself!

Ive reapplied so fingers crossed i may get to go back next year.....

I've still got 9 months left and am already worrying about how much I'm going to miss it when I get home!

Deffo make the most of your days off, and every now and then just stop and think "I actually work at Disney World!" It makes me feel good again if I start taking it for granted hehe.

Went to my first throw out t'other week...so much fun!

Newbies...go to your Throw-IN too (if they ever get round to organising them lol)...you'll get told horror stories about it, but it's really fun! Not that bad at all. :D

judging from the month. Im assuming you're implying to Katherine's, Niamh's and their arrival group throw out?

I gave Niamh quite a bit of my stuff including a Ipod dock/radio... \Loved it.
Oh and Katherine had the Guiness Plack.

My 42'' Plasma tv is somewhere around. Oh And make sure Matthew Lawrence sells Dora the Explorer for a good price!
