It was nice to meet those of you who were at the meal this evening, even if I did have to rush off early.
(Still managed to miss the last train but oh well...)

hope everyone got home alrite today! i ended having my interview at 4pm when it was meant to be 3:15pm ooh well. anyway good luck everyone xx

 

I feel like it was a massive anti-climax.

I'd spend ages preparing, even had my notebook out and about (you all saw it!) was meant to be a 15 minute interview but i was in there a grand total of about 5 minutes and only got asked about 3 ish questions.

pretty disappointed, I'm pretty pleased with my answers but i'm not sure how they can determine if i'm any good for disney on such little information, i don't feel i got to portray myself enough at all really.

so i'm just gonna push it out of my mind really. not think about it for another couple of weeks. I'll be so mad if i don't get it though, i don't think he pushed deep enough!

sorry to whinge, I guess i'd hyped myself up a little too much.

Hey everyone, had a great time meeting you all. A great bunch of people

I too was let feeling confused by the Interview. He had a quick look at my CV wheile we were chatting and saw i've had many years in Food and Beverage but he never let me talk about it or even give me the oppertunity. He asked me the usual, Why do you want to work for Disney? Who's your favourite character and why? Could i cope with the heat?

Then it got wierd. He asked me if i'd been anywhere else outside the UK except Florida? I aid no

Then he asked me to choose which country i prefer? UK or Florida without Disney? I still said florida because of the great people and better quality of life but it seemed like a strange question to ask as i'd just finished saying all the good things about England which i would tell the 'guests'

He seemed like a nice enough guy, but by this afternoon he seemed a little bored. I hope they all go and read all the CV's again and decide based on that as i really wasn't given the oppertunity to show who i was all about

Maybe because Yummy has already pre-screened us, Roger didn't need to ask us the obvious questions because it had already been done! Yummy wouldn't have put us through if they didn't think we could do the job.

 

Well i went in with Michelle M,for my interview and we had quite a laugh the 3 of us!
we were asked quite a few questions but
not as puzzling as Lees?
that is a good sign i think Lee.
I hope he gets to look at our CV,
a few minutes f2f dosnt give you much
time to sell youreself!
I felt there was alot of genuine nice people
there today and il mention names the 3 Michelle's,Jess
Lee,Alex And Darren from Scotland,all i found so down
to earth and great to talk too! I noticed a few people
just didnt want to talk!
Well Disney is all about personality,being youreself
giving guests the best experience ever!But some people
today just wouldnt mix! you have to talk to the guests!

Lets just see who's the lucky ones are?

 

how much was chari's change? could we use it to bribe roger? hehe x

it was great to meet you all and to go out for the meal, I'm thinking the same about the interviews, I felt a little let down by the questions but we were so hyped up to begin with.....

I agree with everyone about the interview, not much to get my teeth into. But I'd probably be worried about it even if I thought it went well. aaaah we'll just have to wait and see.

The important thing is I had a fab time in London, meeting everyone was fantastic 8)
