yeh i'll be going december, or novemeber if my graduation is before the leaving date. does it change each year? xxx
There are loads of different start dates for all the programs. I arrived in February for J1A, I know people who arrived in March for CRP, people who arrived in May, June, July for ICP, June for J1A and so on and so on.
Great to hear from other applicants! I applied last month for the CRP for July 2008 (not even sure if they send people out then, but I just used the dates after my graduation!)... apparently the interviews don't start until the end of this year though, quite an agonising wait! Very exciting though, wil definitely get me through my last year of uni!!
I know what you mean! I'll be in my last year too so it's all fun! I hope I don't feel too much like a newbie when/if I get there though...people will probably think I'm all naive and innocent LOL noooooooooooo I've worked here before haha
I'll be in my last year of uni too. I think the possibility of working in WDW is what's going to get me through doing work for my dissertation! I wonder if they'll accept a dissertation about Mickey Mouse?! x
my dissertation proposal was gender representations in film, focusing on disney in particular.. but i decided not to do a dissertation in the end, and did two extra modules. fun times! glad the work is over now!! although i found myself day dreaming about the possibility of disney during revision. which was fun but not very helpful!
LOL I've asked that too and decided that a dissertation about the Mouse would be too difficult, I wouldn't be able to get over there for research, and Disney are REALLY strict about handing out information LOL. I really wish there was a 'Mickey Mouse' degree...along with a procrastination masters and a PHD in musicals!
Haha, well I'll be the newbie then! Yeah wish my degree was based on 'attractions at Magic Kingdom' or something like that ... actually writing a report on 'Error Analysis in Language Acquisition' right now - not really surprised I decided on some procrastinating on wdwip! lol.
My mum always said I should do a degree in 'Disney' because I'd pass with flying colours! I don't think I can really talk about Disney and WDW as part of my course unfortunately, unless I can somehow relate it to sport!
