UK August 28th??

I think I'll try and get that done next week... Once I offcially finish everything at uni...

 

Hey by the time i get my bags i think i'll be through at about half3- 4ish. hopefully. I've been so rubbish with everything this time, what on earth is the assesment fee and when do we have to pay it and who to. I put my pack in a 'safe place' and now i can't find it! 3 months to go!

And this may be a totally random question but what r ur actual names? I only know ur login names!

The assessment fee is basically a non refundable deposit for your apartment, incase you break anything..So break as much as you want, because you don't get it back!! haha, only messin..

Are you guys startin to get excited yet, its under 3 months for you all now as well? I go 10 days before you all and the excitement is starting to kick in no..Its still ages away, but hopefully the time will start to go faster now its getting into summer!

plans for the weekend hmm not much worked last night couldnt sleep this mornig its too hot and bright meh might go out to the pub in a little while and go sit in the beer garden.

its my sisters bday today and shes nagging me to go visit her and go out clubbing with her but sher lives in a skanky little place with crappy clubs anyone who knows wales will know that bridgend is hardly the hotspot of night life. trying to persuade her to come to cardiff - its ore fun plus i know a lot of taxi drivers what with working with them so cheaper cabs home!

hey, i'm jane, or elizabeth, from Castlecaulfield in Northern Ireland! I'm uk food and bev too and will b goin out 28th august 2! hi!!! i can't wait to go now, should be fun, and hopefully i won't be in tears leaving everyone, cus i just said goodby to my friend who's left for NYC and believe me, it's hard, was crying all night! lol x

 

im not too worried about saying good bye to people. i did uni in scotland which was a 10 hour train ride away form home for me. u get so busy with other stuff that u dont really miss people fortm home that much unless its a special occasion or something is going on at home that u are concerned about. and the year will fly past!

 

I'm not worried either cos it's going to be awesome!!! 75 days now methinks. I had the most tiring weekend, i workd saturday, went out sat night (v messy) and then had to get up and bbq at the golf club for my step dads captains day for 7 and a half hours, i got sunburnt and had to hide my hangover- luckily i'm well practised in that art! Learnt it in the commons!

@Stuart u'll be fine i got a 2:1 and don't know how cos my average score was well below 60!

wen we all get there on the 28th we gota meet up in the evening right?! so wat shall we all do?! gota be somethin good now, i no we'll be jet lagged but come on! I'm up for staying up all night! but i'll not be able to drink since i'm 20 that's rubbish! roll on april i say! lol so wat shall we do guys????

 

im hoping when i arrive that my french friend who is already there will meet me and take me walmart shopping lol

if not then i guess i will taxi it gotta get some bedding and stuff for the first night anyone who wants to join me can

dont we have to be up the following day for 7am? nightmare im so not a morning person if i had my way id sleep all day and stay up all night!

i think the meet n greets/throwins start quite late to give people chance to ge tin from work so like i heard 11-midnightish

i doubt i will be drinking much even tho im over 21. i rarely drink a huge amount any more and as i cant stand beer, wine, ale, lager etc... i dont have a huge range of availablity when i go out. couple of shots of vodka and thats it

well, i can't drink since i'm 20, weening myself off it at the mo - haven't touched a drop in 4 weeks, so me is very happy lol

we're gona be wrecked aren't we oh dear God

I got a 2:2 at uni... Happy I passed...

We seem to arrive early enough that we'll have at least half a day of banter... You've got the rest of your life to sleep so don't worry about jet lag for a day or two or tiredness for a year! ;D I'm all about the wal-mart when I get there though bedding and beers

RE Missing people... I'm not looking forward to saying bye to my girlfriend. That will be waaay beyond difficult but she's coming out in December so I'm hoping that will make things a little easier.

When do we start hearing about our visa stuff? ??? ???

 

I fly out August 19th and they said to me mid july, so you should all find out at the end of july i would of thought..

 

yeh, aw, i can't wait to meet up and everything! but as for drink - it's a no no for me, i'm 20 so boo! but i'll join in the craic nyways! with my Irish flag

 

I'll have a car for the first week so i'll def be going to walmart, i could take us, we had loads of free time in the first week so we can go the the malls and stuff although u don't get a disney pass till traditions which is on the saturday- i hated that. I think the pavilion will have something planned for the first night, we used to do throw-ins but i think they have been banned, fun though! We'll have to swap numbers so we can meet when we get there!

@elizabeth, don't worry about being under 21, one of my arrival group was and she got more wasted than all of us put together!!! I'll never forget her throwing up in the bushes on the way to the bus and having to borrow a plastic bag from some poor french guy 'just incase'!!!

well i was good tonite! my mum gave me this wine thingy and i couldn't face drinkin it, so i'm off alchol! lol 4 weeks and am not gna drink it nymore
so i'm alright! lol

hmm as its august ill prob be in cut offs or shorts and a vest and flipflops/sandals. i like to scare the locals with my pasty white skin and rhino thighs lol

do we have to have a foto taken when we arrive for our id? if so i am going to have to rethink my usual flight plan of aheadbandy scarf thingy that leabes me hair looking tidy despite sleeping on it

has anyone else started packing yet lol or am i the only one - not loads just some random stuff i have bought to go with me and a collection of fotos
