I finished HP on sunday cos i had crap to do on saturday. Loved the book although it was quite slow to start and then she crammed loads in and i thought the last chapter was an absolute cop out, i'd have preferred a book in 5 or 6 years about it than that little chapter. Loved it though, i'm rereading it now, there was hardly any queue in skipton either.
Spoke to the people at disney the other day cos i got my passport back and i'm confirmed on that day now! Woohoo, just got my rubbish disney bank to sort out sending me a new card cos i misplaced my old one and i want to have it sorted for when i get there for phone top ups and stuff!

still haven't got that hp book! lol i'm in the middle of reading his dark materials trilogy by philip pullman, it's very good!

my friend got an email bak from programs office after tellin em she got her visa bak and it said that since we are arriving alone, in sanford and gettin to disney by taxi, they will have our arrival packs and keys with security and we may have to live in Chatham for a bit until beds become available in commons so we will have to move

just to let yas no.

 

Yeah my appointment is Thursday the 2nd... Can't wait til that bit is over with... It's such a hassle! Worth it in the end though ;D

 

oh no, she didn't tell me that, oh well chatham is well nice but they don't have their own washing machines. The pool is nice and it's right opposite mickeys retreat!

I had an email from disney - just a standard one i think but i think they have sent me the wrong one!!!!

It says I need a photocopy of the passport page with my J1 visa stamp, health insurance for the whole year and a DS2019 form ??? think they may have sent me the college programme email by mistake - I just e-mail YJ about it to double check 4 weeks to go on tuesday

I'm getting ym visa back tuesday - so not impressed with SMS they told me id get a text message the day before my visa was being delivered. They tried to deliver it yesterday whilst I was at work with no notice and left a card not fully in my letter box which must have been caushgt by the wind and was in our little hedge which luckily my mum saw - i she hadnt i would have completely missed it and been sat like a dummy wondering where the hell my visa was. called them up and they are delivering it to my work address on tuesday. the guy insisted i give him my extension/bleep number tho to have ti delivered to work and didnt really listen to me so im sure they will end up in the wrong part of the hospital trying to deliver it to me. bah!

 

I got the same email... let me know what yummy say... I was a bit confused by some of it too...

 

me too, but it's mostly the same me thinks, need our visa, birth certs, stuff like that, and the money too. don't worry bout it!

just wanted to say Hi From Italy...since we will arrive on the same date just wanted to let you know that we are completely in the same situation as yours....we got very confused from the college program email as well!
And we are too sorting our all the visa stuff, insurance etc....and getting very, very excited!!!

Yeah Elizabeth we seriousely need to calm down here!
Our Italian forum is sizzling like a fried egg just for the anticipation of this huge event in our life....and you UK guys are soo lucky cuz you don't have any problem with reading, writing and understanding English....while down here in Italy we have to rely in each other for getting past this terrible Visa paperworks and stuff!

Anyway we will sort thing out and meet down in sunny florida!!!!

 

You know the wierdest thing... that our counters are under a month now... feels like just yesterday that we had 7 months 21 days to go on them... Still not letting myself get excited until I have my visa in my hands!!!

 

Yeah this visa stuff is really stressing me out...will I get it on time?...and most important : will I get at all???

i'm the same nammy! i don't know when i will get my passport back with the visa stamp. i really don't and Yummy Jobs even said it would take some time ! but i am hoping i will be ok!

well, at least you guys/gals in the UK can count on a efficient post service!

The Italian one is known worldwide for being one of the worst...and the idea of my passport with the visa stamp in a ordinary envelope going around in Italy in August really freaks me out!!!!

 

yeh, that's true, but i hate my postman, doesn't come til like 2pm! lol so late!

i gav the embassy a padded envelope for my passport, cus then it hides it better. but duno how long it'll take coming up from dublin, cus like to drive there takes nearly 3hours! :O once i get it, i'm gona celebrate! lol

still needa get my dad to compare all the medical insurance companies! lol i am sooo confused bout that! I don't have money to pay for it yet either. and i'm now not quitting work til 18th aug, my manager allowed me to stay on, even though i handed in my resignation for this sat just praying for extra shifts during the week now!

 

Agh! Belfast tomorrow! Visa interview on Thursday... Something's gotta go wrong!
