Because i went on the US embassy web site and I saw that the Typical Wait Time for London embassy is 33days...for us is just 11!!!!

I went to see harry potter last night, and finally the film was as good as the book, i've been hugely disappointed by the films thus far but i did not enjoy book 5, the film was amazing, i'm on a harry high. I'll be there next friday queueing outside whsmiths at midnight to get my copy of book 6, i can not wait!

im hoping to get hp before my visa appt to take with me

we were gonna see hp yesterday but if we had iwould have missed my bus so i am going t have to go see it on my own next week boo cos noone will go see it with me! i didnt like book 5 much either harry was too whiny in it

off to work now ugh 4 weeks til i finish working friday nght yippee and 6 weeks til i finish my day job lol cant wait now!

saw shrek 3 on friday and hp last night - both really good!
gona c die hard with the ex next week sometime, then the simpsons film! lol

visa interview this friday, ny one know what questions they'll ask?!

 

to be honest they hardly ask anything. Just smile and agree with everything! Mine's on wednesday so i'll let you know! I'm inexplicably really really nervous though.
Going to see hairspray next week and maybe hp again with the parents this time!

I'm so confused, i think i needa go down south again, get a irish postal order for my visa fee for friday. went today and got irish postage stamps! dublin is so confusing!

I'm nervous incase i don't have the right stuff with me!

 

I found out yesterday, I've been on the waitlist for a long time but it was worth it. Just trying to sort out the annoying bits of paperwork, i.e. visa!! I hated it last time and swore I would never do it again!! : :

I am getting so excited caus I quit my job yesterday and it made it all so much better!!

What sort of stuff did the ask ya at the interview, iv got mine nxt week on 31st do they ask for a letter from uni n stuff like tht. I had 2 go 2 1 last year but iv totally forgot bout the stuff they ask us!! Less then a month for me now its gettin close and for you lot as well ur only comin a week after me!!

 

That's sooo not true. They just made up story lines in the film. It was ok but still a loooooong way off the books...

Book 6 is out in the shops already... I'll be waiting for my book 7 tomorrow night though ;D

I really have been neglecting this forum too much... Need to get back into checking it more often...

My visa came back this morning! But i was out so they r redelivering on monday so pleased! Just a few more people to ring then i'm all sustems go!
The interview guy didn't really ask me anything but if you r on a J visa it might be different.

well, just home from dublin
i am getting a visa, just not getting my passport back today
wouldn't accept the copy of visa petition disney sent me so disney rang em up and are sortin it out
but i am gettin a visa, the guy said once they get the original then they'll post out my passport!
so am going!!!!! woop
and no questions asked today
it was like waiting in a bank queue really, gve in my forms, told to sit down then called an hour later, gave my fingerprints and thats it

easy peasy, and i arrived late to the embassy but it didn't matter, wasn't last in line!

 

thomas cook in some stores today as doing a special on dollars with $2 - £1 and commission free - just thought id share. one of the bracnhes by me has sold out lol but my aunty got me $200 as a present - nice aunty

im stressed a bit about ym appointment not about the apppintment but parts of M4 between cardiff and london are closed!!!!

my appt is at 1pm and ive got a coach that gets in at like 11am i think so it should hopefully be okay if they have to detour

got the new HP book at 3am last night lol or this morning - i was working so when the office got quiet i had one of our drivers take me to pick it up - i just missed the mad rush lol they only had about 30 books left - cant believe asda did them for £5 - i love asda right now. taking hp to read at the embassy with me.

sis anyone else take their phone to the embassy? i dont mind not taking my ipod well i do but at least i will have my book to read - but i know they can eb strict on security there - u reckon id get away with taking my phone by forgetting not to?

got hp at midnight last night, i only had to queue an hour, i'm loving it so far, about the embassey and mobiles, they x ray your bag and you have to declare all electricals and they take them from you. Going back to harry now

well if they accepted the visa petition copy i wuda gotten the visa and passport bak same day. but not to worry! I'm gooooing! woop!so excited now!

u can take food in with u to the embassy too, just lettin u no, and u can leave to make phone calls r watever and get bak in. duno if its as laid bak in london and belfast tho.

didnt have to queue up r nythin, 5mins in the rain but thats it.

the security guards wondered wat my attack alarm was lol they just laughed and was like, well u dont need that in here, safe enough! lol nice that they can laugh and joke with you!

 

Hey all,

I managed to get a cancellation for tomorrow morning. Here's hoping everything is fine and I will be able to book flights etc tomorrow evening! I am so excited now, its not too long now!!

I know, only 33 days left of this place, thank god, but now am starting to think bout the goodbyes, like at the mo, i'm spending a lot a time with friends, so it's gona b even harder oh well, gota b done, and this is my dream and i can't not go! soooo excited!

 

I finished Harry Potter the day after I got it... Was well chuffed... No que at WHSmiths in Dundee! Borders, Waterstones and Ottakers looked like a nightmare!!! You finished yet Danielle?

I've been going on to the Virgin Atlantic website every day to watch the countdown to my flight! I wont be able to do twighlight check in though which sucks! It closes at 9 and I dont get to Gatwick until 10.15 or something. Pah!

Less than a week until my visa appointment now... Just finished all the froms and got insurance and stuff so I'm all set... I hope the people I'm flying bcak from Belfast with accept my drivers lisence to get on the plane... Or I may be stuck in Belfast for a good while...

 

Woo!!! My application was accepted. I was done in less than an hour, totally awesome going at 8am! lol!!

I am looking forward to getting my passport back, I hate not having it!

I loved Harry Potter but I thought the last chapter totally sucked and the ending was a bit sudden. I suppose you can fill in things yourself which is always fun but a few extra chapters wouldn't have hurt!

Anyway, I am soooo excited!
