That sounds much more manageable thanks for the website! Will definitely be looking out for flights if I get accepted.
It is. My mom is great at finding bargains for anything. And actually the return flights were €450 return (My mistake). We flew with Delta Airlines. We only had one stop over in Atlanta. The flights were bought after Christmas. But the real secret to get cheap flights is book early and shop around.
That's awesome! Your mum is officially my new best friend (and flight finder) my parents are usually pretty good at finding deals and yep that is the secret
Yeah, but it's totally worth it (in my opinion). Paying nearly £900 pounds one-way is a bit crazy. Especially when you could be spending the extra money on Disney merchandise. Anyways, if I get through I'd be planning to have a stop over in the U.K. and meet up with all ye lovely people.
haha, too true!!! Guess what guys...I haven't looked at my CV in TWO WHOLE DAYS! Are you proud?? Also, just been reminiscing about past WDW things - who remembers Cinderella's Surprise Celebration? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaDhyxel_-Q Back in the days when Disney actually let the characters sing rather than mime to a pre-recorded track I miss it though!
Hey guys, just seen that you guys were fretting over the airline prices although direct flights are 573418975039 times better, they are more expensive. I usually go with connecting airlines, like US Airways, Delta, or United Airlines. And, try to look for dates that are not within half-terms, as that significantly drives down the costs! US Airways connects through North Carolina, Delta through Atlanta, and United through loads of choices! Just take a peek, and honestly, if we do make it, we'll definitely be motivated enough to save up for anything haha!
Definitely agree with all that. But the the flights are always more expensive from May onwards because of the summer holidays. We'll just have to hope for the best, shop around and save save save ^_^ Because its totally worth it!!! Is anyone getting a bit more obsessed with Disney? I've started watching all the Disney films in chronological order. I'm just after watching The Ugly Dachshund.
Yes indeed! It is a shame, because in like September and October, I can usually find flights from £450 onwards! And all this excitement has made me watch a lot more Disney films than I usually do luckily on Netflix, they've added a load of classic ones, so I know how I'm spending my day
Agreed. And yes! My friends have also noticed that my obsession has increased and I haven't even told them about the ICP yet! Literally all of the music I'm listening to at the minute is Disney as well and I've been watching the parades and wishes on youtube, oops can't help it :') hahaa! I love how you're watching them chronologically! Might have to join you on that one
If we all get accepted we need to have a huge Disney party somewhere, with movie marathons and Mickey shaped food
If only we could get those Mickey head ice cream bars! Been craving them for ages I get like five when I'm in the parks haha
The Mickey cookie sandwiches are best! With the chewy chocolate cookie and the ice cream.....mmmmmmmmmmmm.......I WANT ONE NOW. :
The only time I went to Disney was back when I was 4 years old - the cookie sandwiches are literally the only thing I remember! I've been craving them my whole life!! I want to try dole whip as well and a whole load of other food...
mmm Dole Whip....I don't even like pineapple, but the dole whips are sooo refreshing! I also reallllly want some of the blueberry cake they serve at the Cape May Cafe breakfast buffet at the Beach Club hotel! That is the most delicious cake ever!!
Mmm I haven't even tried this stuff yet and I already want it. Stop doing this to me! My excitement to apply is going off the scale! Damn I'm still a newbie hahaa I'm sure that will soon change in the next few months
