UK Applicants Summer 2014

Oh my god, you've got to put each job/experience and skills into the online form individually!!!!

 

Uh oh, it's saying you've had to be at university for at least a semester? Thought before you could apply as long as you're joining in September? ???

 

This is horrible! You have to type in A levels and grades, but it only lets you do 50 characters?? It won't fit!!

 

Oh god...they've got new boxes that have to have stuff written! and the motivation box can only be 200 words! Not liking this at all...

 

How much stuff do they require when you apply? I have not finished my CV/Cover Letter yet as I have an interview on Monday for something so I will not be applying for a week or so but I am scared to press 'apply now' to see what I have to write in case it actually sends Is it still like motivation and all that jazz?
I must look so eager as well, already signed up for YJ Social-probably one of the first non-YJ team to do so. Hopefully it reflects my enthusiasm I am stocked as my uni is still noted as a partner institution for the Academic Exchange though so whoo I can still apply.
Also, good luck for applying guys! Regarding the 'complete one full academic semester', I am pretty sure that was there last year. I think it is like as long as you go the Disney with one semester under your belt it is fine, it does not matter that you are applying now without having sat a semester. Probs best to ask though...

Hi, I'm afraid you will have to have completed at least one semester at University before you apply. There has been a change in Disney's immigration compliance recently that has warranted this change. I'm sorry about that.

So you guys can't apply at all?!?!?!?!?!

 

I was promised a nice easy application form, this is awful!!!

 

That is gutting if that is true about in effect, first years (future first years) not being able to apply! Surely they could have said earlier when you guys sent emails?!

 

Just to let anyone know who was wondering, I asked him if this is definitely 100% the case, even if by the times interviews start we would be at university and he said unfortunately it is still the case

Looks like me and anyone else looking to apply will have to wait till next year

Guys, if any of you had checked the disney site where it says "ELIGIBILITY", it does say that you had to have already completed a semester! I'm gonna assume most of you missed that. :-\

 

Yeah I saw that before, although I swear it's always said that? Cause that used to worry me, but then I saw that lots have first years have gone before so yeah

Apparently according to yummyjobs this is a new thing for this year! ???

 

Ditto for me, even though I had completed a semester before dropping out it doesn't count as it needs to be from the Uni I am going to be studying at. Oh well, one year to get some good work experience and perfect my CV / cover letter.

This application form is terrible! Ive just spent 15 mins trying to take a decent passport style picture of myself!!!

How devastating for those of you that can't apply! that means Stevey-boy won't be able to apply either!
