Ah thank you! That's what I'll do then. :)

Yeah the costumes and shoes are, um, interesting :p But that's all part of it - I did get a bit excited when I saw someone wearing a "Earning my Ears' thing on their name tag. :D

My place is unconditional so no worries there :) Though I'll probably wait until results day anyway just so my CV is as up to date as possible.

Yummy Jobs told me to attach the cover letter to my CV and upload it as one document.
Someone else on here contacted them about the motivation box, and it should be a short summary of your cover letter.

My cover letter is 950ish words, and my motivation section is 333 words :)

No problems :) I'm in National University of Ireland, going into second year of business information systems. Are you starting a new course in university next year? As you have to be returning to university to be able to do the summer program.

Hey! Wow that sounds very hard work. Hope it is going well. No I'm not returning to Uni, I checked out Disney's website about the summer work experience and it says students can apply immediately after graduation and Ive confirmed it with Disney so super happy lol this is my only shot at this so fingers crossed! I have no idea how much to prepare for applying

Yummy Jobs told me the application process will be slightly different when the new website launches, but before the website went down, it included an online profile where you fill in all your details (like Uni and course, dates you are available etc), and a box called "Motivation for application" (which a few of us have been stressing about! haha!) and a place to upload your CV. They welcome covering letters too, and if you do that, your Motivation box can be a short summary of the letter :) This could all change though when the new process launches next week!

Wish it was tomorrow we could apply...i'm itching to get it sent off!! Will be a painful two months though, if, like last year, applications don't close until the end of September! ::)

Sounds intense lol ive just been looking at flight prices and woah! But Ive just read on here that if you complete the contract then Disney pays for the return which would be nice haha I cant wait to apply, Ive had my cover letter written for months now. Sorry for bugging u so much

The return flight thing isn't true i'm afraid - I was excited too when I first read that! I think it's just for American participants, on the College Program...rather than the International College Program. Bummer!

I almost had a heart attack when I looked at the flight prices! Nearly £900 one way with Virgin - it's about £50 cheaper to book a return flight...so you can get two flights for a cheaper price in total than one flight - how crazy is that!!! Luckily I have built up Virgin flying club miles, so if I were lucky enough to be accepted on the program, I would use those, and i'd only have to pay the £150ish in flight tax!

And you're not bugging anyone!! We're all excited lunatics on here and love talking about anything and everything ICP! :D

£150!!! Thats around the same price as a return flight to Spain with Jet 2!

I remember last time i flew to Orlando in 2011 that my brother decided about 3 months before departure to come with us, so he looked at prices and they were at £900 so he looked the week after and they had gone down to £550ish!

Flight prices change constantly so you just have to keep looking!

Oh no! that sucks :( i best start saving then lol yeah virgin was over £1000 today when I looked. Haha fancy sharing them flying club miles lol. I think im just going to have to deal with it when and if i get accepted, just focus on the good side of it all. I just realised im not applying for the ICP, im applying for the summer work experience.

I am so late to this party, but hello! I'm also applying. I saw people chatting about where the interviews were, it's a bit of a pain there's only the one in Scotland. I live near Edinburgh over holidays, but during university term time I'm three hours away! Does anyone know exactly how many people are interviewed at once for the group interviews?
