If you all want some blogs to follow my roomie posts alot to tumblr (more image based) jennisney.tumblr.com as does my travel buddy http://madeupofsecretsandlies.tumblr.com ! The only other vlogger i know of apart from Ema is my flatmate Hayley (http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCN2zP4HjMCrKoHMtpa1q82g/videos) who has been filming but has limited time to upload due to her notebook not having editing software, so she uses mine xD
My facebook albums are public if anyone wants to nosey at pictures of the program (although if anyone adds me make sure you message first as i dont accept random adds) https://www.facebook.com/janewaring13

I know how frustrating the wait can get and i was ravaging the internet for vlogs/blogs before my program :p If anyone has any questions feel free to leave me a tumblr message! (http://hippymeow.tumblr.com/)

Thanks so much for posting this! Not to sound creepy but I've been following your blogs/vlogs and am really really enjoying them! ;D
I was wondering if any of the people you're travelling with were blogging or anything so that's nice to know, thank you :)
Gives us all something to look at while we wait for this all to be over!! :D

Does anyone know exactly who we should address the cover letter to?

I've put "Dear Sir or Madam" because i've looked at loads of good examples of CVs and that's what they had written. Plus, to me it sounds more formal than "to whom it may concern", which is what I usually put on other sorts of letters etc....if that makes sense! Also read that it should be signed "Yours faithfully" if you are not addressing it to a specific person, and "yours sincerely" should only be used if you know the recipients name, which is something I didnt know before!!

Thanks for the help. For the last while I've just addressed it to "The Walt Disney World Recruiters", but that doesn't sound professional enough plus Yummy Yummy jobs also read the cover letters so that wouldn't exactly fit.

10 days till applications open!!! Woo Hoo

Yep, it's Yummy Jobs who read the cover letters first, and hold the first interviews, so it probably wouldn't be a great idea to address it to the Disney recruiters. But to be honest, I'm sure they'll concentrate more on what's in the letter rather than who we've addressed it to! ;)

I'm too excited for words really! I've just spent my morning watching videos of Spectromagic - I miss it!!! Gutted it's gone for good now! :'(

Back towards the beginning of these pages a few of us posted the structure we have used in our cover letters! I would also refer you to the Yummy Jobs guidance, but their website is down, getting ready for the new one! :D

    Hey all! :)

My name's Emma and I'll be applying for the programme this year. I'm just back from a holiday to WDW and I have to admit, I spent a bit of time when I was in the parks trying to picture myself working in different roles haha! I'm very excited to apply in a few weeks. :D

This may sound like a stupid question but if I'm starting university this September, how should I put it on my CV? Would I just put it under education with the date as "From September 2013" or is there a better way to do it? Thanks! x

I would just put in 2013 - to whenever the course finishes. I would just put it under education. I'm sure that would be just perfect.

Don't suppose anyone has a copy of the YummyJobs CV examples? :'(

    Hi Emma!!
I think i'll be doing that too when I visit in a couple of weeks - i'm going to be looking at all the weird shoes the cast members have to wear too! :D

As for Uni course, I would just put "2013 - 2016" (Or whenever it finishes), if you have a confirmed/unconditional place. If you are waiting on results, I'd wait until you had them until you applied (i.e. don't rush to apply as soon as applications open) because I'd be scared that Yummy Jobs would decline me in case I didn't get in to Uni....not worth taking the risk! ;D

I've just checked, and I still had them in my downloads folder!! I have uploaded them to dropbox so you can view/download them from there...here's the link:

    No probs!

How long are peoples "Motivation" sections?? Just in the process of re-writing mine because I decided I hated the old version as it was too bitty and was basically just repeating my cover letter!

Have people put their cover letter in the motivation box or attatched a cover letter onto their CV?
