Finally finished tying up the loose ends of my CV and hitting that little red button.
    I have officially applied!

Oh, and those boxes that Kim asked about... they're new since last time. The number of years, position held, passport name, and nickname are all new... as far as I can remember anyway. Either way, I left the "supervisor, manager" option on the default, which is Supervisor, even though I, too, have never been one.

As for my covering letter, I didn't like the one I wrote last time, so scrapped it and just wrote stuff in the Motivation box. Not much, but hopefully enough.

Fingers crossed then! And fingers crossed to all of you as well. Hope to see you in London in a couple of months time!

I have also OFFICIALLY applied! The whole form for regisration was a bit confusing, you know the supervisor bit but I just left them all on default. I spent ages on my covering letter and If I do say myself it is poo hot! Lol! Oh... I hope I get through.

Do long does it normally take to hear if you have a phone interview or not? ;D

In august it took about 2-3 weeks to hear if we had phone interviews or not, and then I think they took place in the last week of aug/first week of sept. If you want to work out the time frame for the whole process, look back through the forums to see the relevant threads. There should be an August 09 UK applicants thread somewhere, that's a good place to start.

yeah, I just stuck it in with my CV

you don't NEED a cover letter I don't think but it's good to be able to add a little more about yourself for them to read

I didn't pop in a C.Letter this time, I did for ICP, but there was no specific space for it so have left it. And just written little bits about me in the boxes available!

Couldn't decide if this was the right thing to do...hope it is!

Oooo Hope everyone had a lovely christmas and new year :)

I wasn't sure what to do, so I just stuck a Covering Letter at the end of my uploaded CV. I think with so many people applying a Covering Letter is a good idea, as you really need to stand out from the crowd!

Now I've applied I just want to know now whether I got through or not! I hate waiting! I wonder if the people from Yummy Jobs read these forums? ;D

It's weird to think that in a few months we might all be meeting up somewhere in London! And finally putting faces to screen names! LOL!

    I'm so EXCITED!

Does anybody know of any blogs that past CRP people have written or any on YouTube? I've found a few but not many considering how many have worked there. ;D

My birthday is right at the end of Jan (23rd), so I'm hoping on a good birthday present in the form of a phone interview :)

Hey Tori! Wasn't sure if you were applying again or not, I hadn't seen you in a while.
As DivineAphrael said, it's good to see the people from last time haven't given up hope. Glad I'm not the only one applying again. :)

Nah I'm back :p Only went quiet due to the insane amount of extra things i've been doing on top of my normal office job (bar, events work & a few shifts in Subway) to make up for the F&B shortfall in my application for last time! Hopefully this will be our year! x
