They've probably been accepting applications and stock piling them since they closed the last lot. As for when they'll start looking at them, I believe (reading ICP things on here) that the offices are closed until about the 5th... so nothing should happen until then. Their inboxes will most likely be FULL of applications today though. (it has gone midnight after all)

    ION:
    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
(Yes, I know i'm sad to be on here, but I've only just got home from work)

I've still got some work to do on mine... so you're not the only one. Fingers crossed for closed offices atm, right?
    Also, Happy New Year! (again)

I just sent mine and they said they'll be reviewing until the end of Jan, I'm sure it'll be fine to leave it a couple of days though as it's bank holiday/weekend.

Don't think my cover letter got sent through with my CV though?? I got a bit confused with the whole registering stuff!!!

    Good luck everyone

Me three!! I've been panicing slightly at work all day because of it.

Of course, no one will be in the office until at least Monday now, so I'm pretty sure we have until then to finish tarting up our CVs and CLs.

well, suddenly this afternoon my "Apply Now" button came back :)

so i just haddddddddd to click it :) hehe

so im now all applied :D yay

Ah yes, my button is back as well. Must have just been some random hiccup with the New Year.
Now I can stop worrying about that and do the final adjustments on my CV. I want my other half to go over it before I apply, so my application won't be going in until Sunday.

Hi ya guys! It's been a while since I've last been on here! How is everyone? Good Christmas and New Year?

I've just got a couple of questions ??? which I hope you guys can answer for me! ;D

    1. When registrating/applying on the YummyJobs website it says 'How many years have you worked in the hospitality industry?' So... I have worked at McDonalds, BHS and H Samuels, so they don't count as 'hospitality', do they? Shall I just put 0? What did you guys do (if you haven't worked in a hotel etc.)

    2. And also the 'Level of position held?' It gives Supervisor, or Manager etc but I've been neither but it gives no other option, so what shall I do?! HELP!

    3. And finally regarding the whole Covering Letter thing. Did you attach it and put in it with the same document as your CV or did you write in the 'Motivation for taking part' box?

    Cheers peeps!

    Heya
BHS and HSamuels do not count as hospitallity but McDonalds does because it is within the food industry anything that supplies food, hotel of lesiur activities is in the hospitallity industry....Also i did not know what to put down for level of position held as i only worked as a crew trainer for mcdonalds but i think i put supervisor and i can exsplain to them if i see them that there was no other option and finally i attached my CL to the front of my CV....hope this helps!!!
