My mum currently knows nothing about this, and I don't plan on telling her until I've at least got an interview. Yay for not living with my parents!

hehe I love living with my parents! they are really laid back and relaxed about things so I'm quite lucky! I think they would love it, they got used to having the house all to themselves whilst I was at uni, think they miss it more than I do!!

I'll agree with that, my parents like having their lives to themselves now that all of the kids have left home (I was the last of three to go).

Again, I know what you mean. I'd hate living alone. I don't think I'd even go back to a flat share permanently... Yay for living with the boyfriend! :D Our interesting work schedules mean we get enough time apart. But it also means I have a hug waiting for me when I get home after work. Unless he's at work, obviously. Like tonight. :( Oh well, I'll have a hug for him when he gets home :)

And now I'll stop the soppyness. Tomorrow... I will look at my CV!!! Whether I actually change anything on it or just find something to distract me after looking at it is a different matter :p

Did you manage to get any CV done?!

I just had the most horrible day at work - I think the rudest people in London were in my workplace today!!! I'm thinking Ben & Jerrys and HSM1!!

Nope, I failed. And then I was working lunch and busy this evening. And I've got LOADS of hours for the rest of week. Seems my CV will just have to wait, along with so many other things. Then again, we've got a couple of months yet!

Hi, every1 just wanna say hi..i'm new this discussion board!

ok after reading through all 24 pages trying to understand everythi..here's a little about me....
I'm 23 and participated on a ICP from jun'08-jan'09. Before I went, I wasn't really big on Disney (far from it) it was just a good oportunity to get away. After the programme I miss it dearly and now hav a void in my life :( it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, I have so so so many stories of being there. I'm back in America at the moment travlling (again) as I thought it was the void which needed to be filled, now although i'm having an amazing time, I've realised it's Disney which is missing in my life.

I've now decided I want to return, but realised after looking on this feed that to get on this programme it seems very difficult. What increases my chances? other than alreay working for them (in merchandise) as well as many retail jobs when I was younger...back in England though now I work as persnal trainer as well taking classes such as aerobics, spinning etc. Also is thier any former ICP's applying. Btw feel free to ask me about many experiences of Disney :)

Thanks 4 reading my essay :)

    Hi JPM!

Welcome to the discussion board! ;D

Aww! How was the ICP? What was the best thing you felt about working for Disney?

I think that it is really hard to get on this programme as I manged to get to the face to face interviews in jan applications and I applied again for august app only to not even get a telephone interview. :(

It is a mega plus that you have done the ICP as it will go in your favour as you have worked for them before so they know what you are like and that you can handle living away from home. Also being a personal trainer you work with the public so thats good too!

Oh Btw Im Laura and Im 23 years old too!

    Where do you live?

    Laura :D

    Hi everyone!

I've tried to seach this forum to try and find the answer to an important question: Can a married couple apply and live in the same apartment?

We feel this would be the only thing holding us back from going.

    Please help!

    Thanks!

Hi Laura and Lucy..thanks for the welcome ;)

Wot was my most memorable experience?...that's real tough 2 b honest I don't know, I have so many to choose from both when I was working (on-stage) and with my friends who I met there (off-stage). I be honest though for everyone who hasn't worked their yet.. it's not 100% perfect all the time, thier was a lot of cons working for Disney fortunatly in my experience the pros out weighed this. I knew many people who was in the same position as me and had no where the fun amazing time I did, basically it's "What You Make of It" and because I did it's a time I'll never ever 4get. I would definatly recommend college programs to anyone, even to people who don't even like Disney (I didn't) it's definatly worth the journey :)

to..Laura good luck hopefully you will be sucessful this time... just make surey you highlight it's the third time you have applied and then keep pursuing :)

to Lucy, Since you are school ikno thier are a few alternatives from the CRP...I recommend the ICP or the summer programme although their are only 6 and 3 months it's more likely you'll be accepted thier (if you have no luck here) and then you could apply for this one too if you love it. Also you will ahv a variety of more roles to choose from as well as working at the other parks

    Hope this helps.

ps. I won't reply straight away as i'm travelling and where I am going dosen't have internet but I will reply when I gt back or if you want just message me :)
