U.K August 2009 Applicants

Blimey I feel so behind all of you! I haven't sent mine yet as I was away in Florida for a few weeks and I haven't had the time since I have been back. I'm spending time tomorrow updating my CV and cover lester- so it won't be much longer until it is sent in

 

You're not really behind us. They'll start looking at all our applications at the same time (please tell me I'm not the only one who now pictures a MASSIVE table with ALL our applications printed out and laid out on it), at which point we'll all be at the same stage as each other. No one is ahead of behind of anyone. At least not come the begining of August.

 

Funnily enough, I had the exact same image of it all Vikki!

Would just like to point out we're under two weeks now ! Wooo! 12 Days!!!

 

I'll get excited when I get my work rota for the week that August starts. So that won't be a while yet. *sigh* (I've been known to get my rota on the saturday evening as the week starts on the monday. My boss is useless) At least I have loads of hours this week to keep me busy.

 

Oh I do know that, you just don't want a situation like with the January applications where they close them really soon because they have had so many applications- it's just trying to figure out the right time to send it

we are now out of the teen's and nearly in to single digits :O

i think the reality is just about setting in for me! i cant wait lol

 

I'd like to now apologise to the outside world as Gary & I are going to be the most annoying people in the world when we hit the final countdown! I know I will especially Worst thing after that is the whole waiting for emails on if we get phone interviews! I'm so nervous already!!!

I thought I was pretty pacient but is anyone else checking their emails every 5 mins in the hope they've decided to look at applications early even though its gonna be weeks? eek can not wait!!!! xoxo

 

haha not yet, but i do check them every 5 mins for updates on the msg boards lol

 

Lol seems like a better plan for now I'm gonna get killed for just sitting on here lol! xoxo

Teehee! Totally know what everyones saying! I sit here all day at work, torturing myself with looking at the forums! I just keep thinking, "This time next year, we could all be there!"

I was stood at work today, folding napkins, and just thinking to myself "I want it to be August already". These last 2 weeks of July are going to go SOOOOOO slowly, it's unbelievable.

 

Yea ive been stood at work since last november going through these applications begging for the next part! Im really starting to lose it!

 

Don't think I could physically stand that!!! Hopefully you get it this time though, I'm sure you'll be first in line being waitlisted before!! xoxo
