look like i am the first one to get an email off michelle about 15mins ago saying that i am on the waiting list till feb 09 they dnt have a date for me yet

Yup same here, just been waitlisted. So its just wait and see for the next few months then.

 

Same here - wonder if anyone was given a start date yet?

 

There wasn't that many at the interviews, I know that it was a 'filler' group, so maybe it was just to get a few more on stand by who they can call on.

 

It's all a bit wishy-washy though...no-one seems to have been given a definite yes and I doubt anyone was actually turned down for the role?

 

Same here, got the job but no date. Oh well, might give me more time to save up for that Mustang!

 

Wow how confusing is this! My fiancee (littlemermaid) got the same email. Now she has no idea if she has a job or doesn't have a job because there is no date? And.... Should she "reapply" for Feb onwards next year and hope for a permanent date (just in case) or will that affect her being waitlisted now. So confussing.

 

i am guessin all you guys applied for the one that starts this year, glad everything went ok for every1 im sure you will all have done great

 

There has been alot of termed people etc the last few months n self terms
it always happens so if ur on the waiting list u cud be out there sooner than u think

Nowt yet. I'm not holding my breath on hearing anything soon.

 

Good idea. What worked well for me when I was waiting was to stop checking and stop worrying. Man was it hard. Only 2 weeks after the interview your crazy about it still. But I think it works. Start planning your summer and next thing you know your plans will be ruined when they call and ask if you can come down next the next month. (that happened to two of my friends.)

I hope that you are well. I am sending this email to you to inform you that we are still waiting for positions to become available this year for the Cultural representative program.
FYI. Roger informed you during the interviews that there may not be roles available immediately but we would still like to consider you for the positions that will become available from February 09-until August 09.
If you would like to be considered to arrive anytime from February 09 please let me know by email, also please inform me whether you are still interested if a position should become available this year.

Obviously a hasty reply was sent off confirming that I am ready to go whenever & post february would still be fine.

I had pretty much the same reply, that Michele would let me know if anything comes up & they will keep me on the records. Hope and pray baby, hope and pray!
