The statistics are way off, if you read them anywhere! My interview in Calgary last year was insaane. There were about thirty people at mine, and I am pretty sure almost ALL of us were accepted! A few were cut out, but I was one of the last ones to arrive and almost everyone working there I was like "You were at my interview! Ahhh!". I don't believe it's based on numbers, just on that amount of talents
Yeah its a mystery however there were about 10 at my interview and im pretty sure we all got in so i wouldnt worry too much they seem to take people who seem keen!
I was so thrown off on the favourite character question! I honestly had no idea they asked that! I had barely even sat down at the table when I was asked this. After stumbling over words for a few seconds I said Nemo... because he's cute and I like orange. I was pretty sure I did not have the job at that point! I suppose cute and orange are acceptable answers after all!
I am going to the early 2009 interviews too. So excited about it. A friend of mine did this program a couple years ago and had the time of his life. I wish I could go now and get away from all this snow.
When I had my interview to work the Disney Store a few years ago, I got asked what my favorite Disney Movie was. I said Lion King because it was the first movie I had ever in in a movie theatre, and the story and and lessons in it were so captivating to me at the age that I was (i think about 7 or 8 years old), that it just stuck with me forever. But my second choice was Beauty and the Beast because I felt I was very much like Belle. I got the job! lol I should also state that They also did interviews in pairs! It was my first time ever doing an interview in pairs as well. Very strange because all I could think was "uh oh, I'm pretty much competing with this girl for the job... uh oh, her answer was SO much better than mine!.." etc etc... But by the end I felt more comfortable, and we both got hired, so all was good! ;D I miss working there! I guess that would further explain my eagerness to work at Disney World!
well, ive no idea what was going on when they did the phone interview, since i had just finished my finals on that day, and i was eating then....with all the food stuffed in my mouth....LOL it was Jan. 6ht, 2009. I applied this pro in Nov. and they called me like one one month later. Thank u for all ur tips i guess ill get my f2f interview around March, in Beijing......if i am selected! ;D
