Thinking about 2009 already?

me and my friends were gutted when they banned the blue smarties all those years ago we used to love it on birthdays and you used to take sweets into school for all the class no wounder we were all high

ive just realised, even though its like 6 months and like 2 weeks til i go to disney

its only actually 28 weeks

that doesnt seem that far away :O

Haha Karri it looked like you'd become suddenly drunk! ;D I can see what I'm writing, but earlier the whole forum was playing up for me. I could see the main forum page, but when I tried to get into like a sub-section (e.g. cult rep program) or a topic, it went to page not found or whatever.... so maybe the forums in general were playing up for a while! :-\

 

mine kept cocking up and when i was trying to post replies it would take me to the new topic page saying how i hadn't entered a subject etc

 

I had that problem. It may be because you have internet explorer 8 in which case you need to look to the top of the screen and press the compatibility button which is next to the refresh one. Hope that helps ;D

 

ah phew so its not just me...its working all fine on the mac but the laptop is not a happy chappy...anyway problem solved ill just use the mac lol i know what u mean henhels i knew it was gonna look like id one too many waters but once i had typed it i couldnt delete it fun fun! Man i am super excited...the time is going in very quickly...well so far at least

 

scarily fast...luckily i've handed in my essays for this semester now...but still, january exams'll be around before you know it! x

 

Time's going quicker now I'm working! It's so hard not to tell people at work though. I could prob tell them and it'd be fine, but I'm too scared haha! But references to Disney/America/Theme parks/the rubbish weather here/how long people are gonna stay working there for etc. etc. keep popping up like fate is trying to prod me into telling! ;D Are any other workers out there finding the same thing?!

 

I'm really excited that we'll be celebrating the new Decade at Disney next Year. I can imagine them going full out like they did for the new millenium in Epcot with the fireworks

We should all meet up again before we start leaving for Disney. Maybe TGI again? ;D

My work doesn't know yet...I'll tell them when I have my January shifts LOL. Ive been stuck in the south next month so I don't want them to be mean to me and give me horribnle shifts! Like escalators :-\

Anyway, Friday I shall be booking my flight, and then I need to get my insurance. I got my congratulations letter yesterday...t was dated April 29th 2008. LOL

 

Yeh I worry over works reaction, don't want them being mean to me in the time between now and when i go, i'm new and it's hard to judge their reactions. Plus it's quite fun keeping it hushed up, I feel really sneaky!!

 

My employers were horrible, they told me to leave the moment i said i needed to go for the London Interview. They accused me of talking behind their backs becuase i didn't tell them sooner that i was planning on going. I didn't want to tell them if i wasn't going. Idiots

I've been on a couple of job try outs and although it's only for 6 months, i couldn't stay there as the working conditions were terrible, so i'm currently still looking

I logged into my Yummy Jobs account today and it looks like there are some info documents to download regarding getting to the apparemtents and VISA instuctions so i assume these are what come with our welcome packs.

I'm trying to concentrate on other things than Disney at the moment so that the time goes quicker but when i go and buy Wall.e on Blu-Ray for example, i'm not helping myself.LOL

May not benefit me as much as a cast member but i've asked for the 'Unoffcial Guide to Walt Disney World 2009' for Christmas. £9 on amazon and is a 800 page guide to all of WDW. It gives detailed guides on everything from the guest appartments to the order for doing rides in Magic Kingdom and saving 5 hours of queing

I hope the people at work aren't horrible when I tell them! I have to give quite a long notice (8 weeks) so I'm stuck there for that time anyway, they can't just drop me like they did to you. They sound so mean, you're better off not working there, especially since you've been there ages.
