6. Get a Laptop (thats on my xmas list)

8. Get A Visa/do the whole criminal record thing!

I also have a bunch of stuff that I need to get before I go. I've asked for a new camera and an mp3 player for christmas... And I'm debating about buying a new laptop, mine will be 5 years old when I go out there and I don't know if it will survive another year.

And while I'm there, I think it may be worth it to buy a universal studios season pass. it is such a good park (no disney) and i'd like to go a lot. Also because Harry Potter world opens in 2010!!

 

Awww thats so niiice My friends are still in denial about me going... my closest friend who I've been friends with since we were about four keeps saying stuff like, "You know Hel- you don't HAVE to go...", "If you changed your mind it wouldn't matter or anything...", "A lot can happen in 9 months! Anything could happen! So you're not DEFINITELY going....?"

And I keep trying to gently break it to her that.... I AM GOING 99.99999% the only thing that would stop me would be a family/close friend/natural disaster!!!

 

No one is allowed to have a disaster in the next 19 months. In fact I might put that in my xmas cards this year

 

I'm not even going to make a list...I did last time I went and even in 11 months I still didn't do everything!

I will however, be getting a new camera that doesn't take 5 minutes to take a picture. I already have a video camera lol.

My New Years resolution is....to not break anything that would stop me from going to Disney!

firstly, don't do drugs! not just from a legal point of view...i just think they're kinda silly!

 

The only drugs I do are aspirin and ibuprofen LOL. Oh, and Beechams all in one for colds

Otherwise I don't break the law...I even drive at the speed limit! (and there's a sticker in the back on my car that says so!)

 

I've asked for a laptop for christmas.

I sold my beloved microsoft zune 80gb mp3 player on ebay a couple of months back, i'm going to rebuy one because it was AM-AZ-ING.

I so boycott ipods..booo

my best friend Tom just plain and simple doesn't want me to go, he's quite upset actually...buuut happy that i'm happy.

eeeesh.

 

Hehe, yeah same with Shuv, only she won't actually say "I don't want you to go", she tries to "subtly" hint at me not going.... subtle as a brick but I love her for it haha!!

 

LOL none of my friends are like that! They're either all jetting off around the world anyway, or want to know when can they come visit?

 

Yeah my friends are the same. I have one really good friend who is a little sad that we won't be able to see each other. But she is not trying to make me change my mind.

Funny story though... my mum called last night just to check and make sure I am still excited, dumb question!

 

none of my friends seem very sad...i'm sure my mum'll be sad this christmas when she thinks how i won't be at home this time next year!
a lot of people keep saying "ah cool, i'll come visit"...i think they're all expecting free entry, free accomodation etc...bless them

 

they all say they'll visit but they probably won't end up doing.

When i was away repping last year nearly all of my friends said they'd come out, i was only in spain a couple of hours away, where you can get cheap flights.

how many came out? 0

 

With friends I had more problems with those in FL saying they were going to miss me rather than my friends here saying that they were going to miss me during the summer.
If I get the UCF graduate programme then I won't be home for Christmas which will be sad but I never really thought about it that much. I will be able to talk to my family on Christmas day, I just won't be there for the present opening. I think it would be good experience to be away from home at Christmas though, we all will at some point.

 

i will be next year, but after that i'm sure i'll go back...need to have my parents' cooking on christmas day!

 

None of my friends were sad, they were mega excited for me and pretty much as relieved as me that I got in since it's all I ever go on about Loads of them have just started work or are jetting around the globe themselves so everyone has somewhere new and exciting to be. They prob won't have time to miss me

I do feel bad about the fact my parents won't have me around at xmas, it was the first thing they mentioned, its just my immediate family on xmas day since everyone else lives up in Scotland, so i'll leave quite a gap which I feel really bad about. It won't be so bad for me (seeing as it's the most magical place on earth) and I've never spent christmas with friends before and I think it'll be loads of fun when we're all there...because we can bring our own traditions into it somehow and share them.

 

And try to plan Christmas dinner which will never work because we'll all be working. In which case we'll have to have many!
