I know STA are actually looking the cheapest for their virgin flights at around £480, but thats probably before tax, I'm gonna wait to get my pack and such anyway. I might be able to get some discount on my flights being a travel agent and suchlike, I just really don't want work knowing about it yet..so it throws that plan right out of the window.
I don't mind paying £480 for the flight, just as long as Disney don't get funny about the cost and won't re-inburst thefull amount to me. I doubt they flihts they will offer us being much cheaper. I'll fly Virgin for sure especially if they are the same price as the cheap airlines who don't have a TV on the planes. That's one thing for sure as 7-9 hour flights drive me insane
I know i should book now daz, cant afford to right now, probably not til after xmas, i cant imagine they will go up too much will they? oh and is there a way we could get seats together? even tho were not paying together like checking in or something together i dont knowhaha
i think my dad said with virgin you could book your seats online...? but i'm not sure last time we went (with XL...hahaha) we got our seats booked when we checked in...all depends on the airline and that i guess
Sometimes they stay the same, but theres always that risk of them changing dramatically overnight, I've seen it alllll before.
With Virgin you can change them online...we've been doing it for weeks for out December vacation because we want seats at the back of PE. It's really easy. I'm sure if you use the self check in machines at the airport you can change seats then (you can on the BA ones anyway, I've never seen the VS ones so I'm not sure what they're like). I'm also pretty sure you can change them at the check in desk. There's never any harm in asking!
Hey everybody ;D I just sent out my application form for next year. I was wondering if it's somehow possible to work at the attractions? Anyways, I hope to be part of the Disney family soon Cheers
For Germany I think you only have to two areas which are merchandise and foods, no attractions in the pavillion.
Hiya everyone!hows everyone getting on with their planning etc? cant believe its been a week already since we all found out!i get the feeling this is going to go in very quickly! JayCee if you are applying for the CRP im afraid some of the pavillions dont have attractions at them (UK and Germany are 2 of them) so your split between Food and Beverage and Merchendise, hope this helps!xxx
Michelle i think we have found the best deal so far for June 8th. I think we can book seperate and check in together on the day to get seats together, lets hope the flights dont go up alot! When are we going to recieve the infomation pack from yummy jobs?
Thanks guys. Yea, I'm applying for CRP, but I really wouldn't mind working at F&B or Merchandise so that's totally fine
Im ready to book flights after christmas daz, in january! as long as we book the same flight, i dont supose it matters if you book yours now, and i book mine in january, and then just meet on the airport in the morning ! And check in together and requests seats together - or at least near each other i dont think they'll have much of a problem! =] oooh id like to know when we recieve our pack too!
im the same! im looking forward to getting my info pack coz then itll all seem real! the other morning i woke up wondering if i had imagined the phone call. what kinds of things do you recon well get in them? i thought i heard it mentioned that michele might start sending out the packs this week so we might get them soon but i also heard a rumour that it would all depend on the date you leave? cant wait though
I heard she was out of the office all last week, so I guess she'll send them this week! I have seen a few of them on blogs and stuff, its stuff like the disney look book and (in my opinion the most exciting bit!) Disney luggage labels! That'll make it all seem real! I finally found some decent pics of our costume yesterday! There are a few "I've worked in the rose & crown" etc. groups on FB, and there are looooads of photos... they're really not that bad for the UK!
