Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I've missed a bit on this board since I've been studying for my midterm this morning. Cdn Tyler you've been dreaming of pools too! Very weird...lol I don't remember my dreams from last night....too bad, maybe I would have made it to a hot tub or something.

As for the marathon....I haven't run it...yet. I had Sue for the interview, and when she asked about my personal goals at Disney next year, that was the first one I listed. I've been training for the race in Hamilton, but I got a stress fracture in November that derailed me quite a bit, so now I'll only be running 10km. I am hoping that Disney will be my first! Plus, everyone gets a medal!

C'est formidable qu'il y en a beaucoup des personnes qui parle français içi! I really want to try out for that qualification at Disney, I didn't know it existed. I am hoping if I get a later start date that I can go on the Explore program (a 5 week exchange program, mostly to Quebec, but around Canada...if anyone is interested in learning more, message me, it doesn't cost anything except travel), to brush up since I've been out of practice. And now that I am learning Spanish, I am getting even more confused!

 

I looked up what dreaming about a swimming pool means:

My pool was full too, of people and water! I hope thats a good sign. Are you planning on doing the full or half marathon? I did the half, Im nt sure if I will ever try the full, my mum did it this year though, shes crazy. Apparently registration is fillin up quick though!

Alright so It is now 10am, where is my email lol. Its almost been two weeks.

I am going for the whole 26 miles! I don't plan to do it until 2009 though, so I figure I should be able to work my way up to that distance by then. That's awesome that you did the half marathon, would you do it again?

 

Yah I would definitely do it again! I had to get up at 3am, so I wasnt a fan of that haha. Im late for work though, so Ill write more about it later. I hope I have an email when I get home!

That is my biggest fear too. And at the same time it could be my mail is slow sometimes. But man that would sure make my heart sink. I really hope we find out today just even if we are accepted. I could wait till next week even to find out when I leave. I just hate wondering IF I will leave. So hopefully it is today so we have time to call tomorrow. (Instead of getting an e-mail tomorrow evening and everyone having to wait till Monday to call... or even worse, having to wait till Monday to find out. Man I wont survive another weekend.)

LOL. That is sort of what I have been doing. And strangely enough I have my mind off of it a little bit. It is extremely hard. But everyone go out for a walk, or watch TV or study or do something to get your mind off of it. Check around 5pm or something. Maybe if we all try to forget about it, it will come to us. And if it don't, at least you weren't by the computer checking every 5 mins. Although I know that is easier said then done. But you never know. I am going to give it a try. I think I will get away from the computer for a bit. I don't have to be first to know as long as I know and hopefully when I get back there will be something waiting.

 

Oh my goodness we have to know by next weds cause i leave for Florida next weds!!!!!!!!! I have to know if im going ti visit my future job or if im going to kiss it goodbye! lol

 

I'm off to work now so I have no choice but to not sit by the computer. thank god.

 

your right, a watched pot doesn't boil-- The one day I wasn't checking every 5 minutes was the day i got the email. I was so busy I hadn't checked since 11 am, and I didn't check til almost 6. It was terrific! hope it works for you too!
