Really. Oh that is scary. I will ask and see for you guys. It can be one of my questions. LOL. I will let him know there is a lot of eager people wondering if they are forgotten or not. Wow October 21st, that sort of cuts out our thought before. Now I really wonder when I will be going.

 

ya it totally took away our theory, but Ty is the only one so far the has an Oct start date too...hmmm i dont think the rest f us will hear today as it was said he took a day in between probably to take calls etc.
I cant live with this through the weekend ahh it will just drag by!

 

In the Epcot Cast members group on facebook. There is someone who got it for December 2nd. So this is really confusing. But I will ask when I call today. I really wonder when I will be going now.

Oh guys, I feel so sick to my stomach.
This waiting room is making me go crazy.

Don't worry... I believe Timitu is calling today about her position and also asking when other people might hear. I'm quite positive that this can't be *all* the people they accept, so hopefully another round of "Congratulations" e-mails will be sent soon (today or Monday)!

 

So I totally had my first Disney dream last night.... It was my first day and I was getting settled into my room.... I hope thats a good sign! and Timitu called, eric isn't in the office until noon!

 

I just called. Eric is in meetings till after lunch. So dont worry if your not getting one right now. Be prepared for a wait but I will still ask and see if he sent out e-mails to thoese who did not get the job. If he has then you guys probbly all got the job and are just waiting to hear. But I will find out all the info I can. I want to do what I can for you people waiting. I know I would be desprate to find out if I was in your positions. But atleast you know you cant hear any news till after noon so go out for a walk or something. I did it yesterday and it worked for me. Got away from the computer and did my best to keep my mind on watching TV and got the letter.

EDIT: Casey, maybe that is a good sign. My dream that also had the lazyu river around splash mountain, also involved me arriving on my first day and getting settled. That was not last night but the night before. I really have my fingers crossed for you all.

Hey... I was just talking with some people. When did everyone apply? Maybe we can find out what pattren they have. Also maybe the first group he is contacting got their first choice.

But I am wondering cause I know Ty and I applied back in like October in hopes to get in the West coast ones. (That was you Ty right?) Of the other people who found out, when did you apply. Maybe it is in that order.

 

i applied like 2 weeks before the interviews... so thats a good sign right now anyways!! until someone says they applied way back when!! i am trying to keep positive.

 

Hmmm I applied January 1st, but that's because Eric told me to send my resume in then. Funnily enough I still got invited to the West Coast interviews, I'm not entirely sure why, since I hadn't submitted my application yet, I'd just be sending questions to Eric for the past year lol

Not to mess up the pattern, but I applied January 1st (though I sent it to the wrong e-mail), and then re-applied January 10th. Eric phoned me January 11th for the phone interview.

Also, I didn't get my first choice. I put Attractions, F&B, and Merchandise and I'll be working Merchandise... so there goes that theory!

 

Another random theory:
Maybe he started with the people that either got a different start day than requested, or didn't get one of their first two choices in case they turn down the job?

 

That could be it, I wanted Attractions, then merch, then Foods, and I got foods! Or maybe it is TOTALLY RANDOM and he is toying with everyone muhahahaha.

My thought is that document we filled out with the name we wanted to have on our tag and if we had tatoos and stuff were numbered, and they call in that order?

 

where abouts did everyone sit in the room? maybe that is some sort of order (going along with the numbered forms)

 

GOOD NEWS. Just got off with Eric, he said the rest of the e-mails are going out tonight so everyone will know where they stand. So that is good.

And now if anyone cares after hearing that. LOL. I arrive Dec.02 and I am in Food and Beverage.

I didn't, no. He was in a hurry by the sound of it. So i did not get that far. Ya it would be sad. Try not to get hopes up now people. Cause that way if it is a no, you can... well not handle it, but get by a LITTLE easier. And if it is a yes, it is just all the more great. Try checking around 2pm or in that time area... EST if you can. Cause then you can call him as soon as you get the e-mail. So you can even find out the day you leave before the weekend. Otherwise you will be waiting till Monday for that. But then again knowing your going is the most important thing I am sure. At least then you can start planning that you will be there.

Good luck everyone. I will probably be gone when everyone is finding out but I hope to come back to tons of happy people. We can make this a little more Magical. It was so sad with all the sad people. I felt so bad for you all. Still no idea of the order of this but at least everyone should know in a few hours.
