Torrential downpour every day at some point between 3 and 5 - count on it!

At least in Florida though, it rains, the clouds get that out of their system, and then it's sun sun sun! It doesn't draaaaaag out gloomy weather (like it is here today in Toronto :D)

At least with a hurricane you have something interesting! So much better than the rain rain rain that we've had all day here. Not even one flash of lighting or one crack of thunder. Just grey skies and rain all the way. :( Bloody Bristol.

I wish there was a Rainy Day Character Cavalcade that happened everywhere whenever it was raining - would make it so much nicer!

I love the rainy day cavalcade!!!!

Hey question does anyone know if they've recently put a grocery store closer to the Disney living areas? Or does everyone still go to Walmart??

Well, if you're carrying a lot you probably wouldn't want to walk it... unless you "borrowed" a grocery cart, or got one of those granny carts that people take to the store :D It's basically right beside the outlets!

    http://maps.google.com/maps?daddr=8145+Vineland+Ave,+Orlando,+FL+32821-6847+(Publix+Super+Markets:+Information)&geocode=CW7TRSGrMlukFQYnsQEdFpck-yFrWNevkP8dzQ&dirflg=&saddr=8050+Gables+Commons+Dr,+Orlando,+FL+32821&f=d&dq=Publix&sll=28.386983,-81.487108&sspn=0.006683,0.009645&cid=14780250548990335083&ie=UTF8&ll=28.383689,-81.490531&spn=0.013366,0.01929&z=16

Would get from point A to point B a lot more quickly via a detour through the outlet... ;)

that's a lot closer than I thought! You might be able to walk! If you really needed to! Nice you dont have to go alllllllll the way to walmart!

Walmart is the mecca of... well... everything you could possibly need :D But far better to go there if you have a car. It's a real pain to wait for the bus, which I believe if memory serves me correctly only runs on certain days. Not only that, it's just a real pain to haul a lot of bags to the bus, and from the bus to your apartment. I'd think it almost better to do a group run to Publix via taxi if you don't have a car, then get as muuuuch food as your little foodie heart desires :D

Wal mart requires a car for sure! It's a royal pain in the butt to do it any other way!

yea same here Natalie. i would love to go though, i think the closest i have been to wal-mart is asda lol

  18. I would say it was a royal pain in the butt by definition. I hate that place and if I get back I will only go there for my first shop so I can get bedding and then I am going to use Publix. More expensive but it is, IMO, better quality, wirhin walking distance, and I don't get lost or confused before I even enter the store!

better quality? am i right in guessing that the wal-marts are just like a netto, but on a bigger scale then? and the publix like marks & spencers?
on some scale of course. i dont mind shopping at netto if so lol

  20. Some of it was of a good quality but I just found the fresh food and veg less fresh so to say. They both sell similar stuff, it is just like comparing tesco to sainsbury's or something. I just prefer Publix lol, no smelly bus to get on as it is only 15-20 mins from the commons and 10 from patterson.
