The Living Situation: Patterson or Commons??

Maybe the weather reflects the mood of people as they await their phone interviews and what not - so once those are over, should be sunshine world-wide!

 

It was thirty six here yesterday (don't know what that is in F). Except we had no air conditioning. So it wasn't so fabulous.

 

The temp here in Toronto is actually warmer today, but they're forecasting rain... which seems to be the norm just about every day... weather is sooooo kee-ray-zee! It's the summer of rain in these parts! All the people who own cottages are not happy campers to say the least :-\

 

I wish I could swim in a pool, I haven't been in one all summer which is super lame!

If I was in Florida I would have a pool at my disposal! lol!

 

I ADORE swimming. But I haven't had access to a pool in at least a year and before then I didn't have the time to go. So I've not actually been swimming in well over 2 years. So yea, I'm massively looking forward to spending an awful lot of time in or by the pool in Florida. It's going to be amazing.

 

omg it sure is!!! I looooove lounging by the pool! So relaxing, and then you can always cool off! It's just the best!!!

 

man i wish i had a pool today cause there was some sunshine but alas i refuse to pay the public pool fee plus i don't know it's hours

 

it was sunny here today briefly for the time i was actually ridin a bike grrr i was boiling!

 

i spent the whole day at work and it is air conditionede so i didnt spend much time in the heat

 

It was warm here today, but I was on the coast, so it was also very very windy. Was rather nice though, meant it wasn't oppresively hot.

 

It's hot here today... sticky hot, and I worked in no air conditioning... I just want a pool, and a floaty bed to lay in! lol!

 

hehe, well it wont be long for all of us before we are lounging around the pool (in either the commons or pattersons).

and no doubt even though we will have our pool and nice weather, most of the people will be complaining still because "it's too hot for them" to go out in haha

 

I never complain im always happy hahaha

I don't complain about the weather in Flo, it's as good as it gets!!!

 

Unless there's a hurricane.... then it gets a bit tricky

True! The bonus with Disney at least is that they have their own power supply, so it's like a nice little back-up juuuust in case!

I remember being in WDW during a hurricane - they closed the parks and literally sent everybody to their rooms! I didn't mind, we just watched the Oscars on tv, and I kept sneaking a peek outside the window to see what was going on. The walls were so thick, we hardly heard a thing! Wasn't until we went outside the next morning and saw trees everywhere that we saw how strong the storm was Goes to show that the safest place in a hurricane is a Walt Disney World resort!

 

ya no kidding eh!

I dont think i've been there for an actual hurricane but there was some wicked weather when we worked there for ICP... it can get nasty!!!!
