yeah BA give free drinks on flights. me and mum were taking full advantage in october. I think they're trying to get you legless, a mini bottle of vodka and a tiny little can of diet coke. it was a 50/50 mix!lol. Sucks that disney doesnt book with them, at least we'd know we'd be getting free drinks. as soon as we know who michelle's flying with we can investigate!how much luggage allowance they accept etc too!

Yeah someone told me they can accept your contract but only up til the end of your visa so you couldnt trvel after. and they only do it in very rare cases and in high season. thats what i was told anyway. it obviously isnt a high possibility as we weren't told at the int!

haha too true lindsey! i do know the luggage allowance though cos michelle told me, one hand luggage plus a laptop, and 2 suitcases each upto 30kg i think, its sumthin around that anyway haha. michelle will confirm but they recommend to not take full allowance cos of bringin things bk that u buy, in otherwords i should take about 2kg in each suitcase 4 me 2 b able 2 buy everythin haha.

i'm taking mine with me so i can keep people updated on what im up2, but as well i need 2 do like a weekly diary/info collection for my final year dissertation but also to keep my lecturers updated as its placement year i still get credit on it for my degree

Cant believe its only seven weeks!!!

Still not go tmy vissa yet - will prob a couple of weeks yet!!!

Am a bit anxious about my roomie but i figure you just have to make trhe effort to get on but if you really clash you dont ahve to spend time with them - i cant imagine we'll be hanging out in our rooms that much anyway!!

And just to confirm - sara was right about the luggage allowance!!

yeah i am as well, but as u say ur gona use ur room to sleep so its not as if ur gona spend every waking minute with them if u don't get on as long as u make the effort as i was sayin in another topic before it makes things interesting if u wana 'bring someone back' !

Good luck Michelle im sure ur roommate will be great. Thats gotta be the thing im most worried about as well - but im sure itll be cool. We might not get same person for whole year anyway.

My friend who did the college program had a freaky roommate the first two months who slept sitting up with his back to the wall. He felt like he was being watched all night! the guy also covered his side of the room with carrier bags! But then on his last month he got the room to himself- so it kindof made up for it! Plus now its just another story to add to to the disney experience. i think his roomiewas ok otherwise!

or you could just solve the problem by going to his place! let him have the awkwardness!haha! then at least all your flat mates wouldnt know what you've been up to! .. but his will ...mmm...maybe i didnt think that through well. i can see it now, waking up the next day to high 5s!
