I am wondering why u guys get ur packages so late??? The German folks who are leaving March 15th, including myself, got their packages in November!! So we had way more time to get organized, send all the papers that needed to be sent and get insurance...which I´m really glad about...I needed that much time for sure!!! ;D

    Hi Steph,

i think we got our packages only recently because we didnt have out interviews until mid-November and then we didnt get the job offers until december 7th. After that Yummy JObs were away for Christmas and then we got the packages after the holidays!!

How long ago did you know had the job - have you had a lot longer than us to prepare and get everything sorted out?

    Not long now guys!!

I got my job offer in April of 2004!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So basicly I have been waiting eleven loooooong months to finally start working there!!! Waiting that long was a pain in the butt!!!! So I guess I did have planty of time to prepare...but to be honest I would have rather only had 2 months instead of the whole waiting process!! That´s for sure!
I am sooo excited though...I would be flying out tomorrow if I could! ;D

    Wow, youve known for ages!!

Im glad I only had a couple of months to wait - I dont think I could have waited eleven months - Im so impatient!!

We leave eight weeks today so after all the waiting youve laready had that must seem like nothing!!!

i also waited 11 months, it was a little shock as noellie told me "you fly on march 15, 2005 !!"

i didnt know what to do besides finishing school and waiting. OK i did a 3 month internship in a local broadcast station, which lead me to study media entertainment&production or another media course.

but I think disney is worth all the waiting and trouble.

    cu there guys

Thats cool Yummy book our appointments for us Michelle! The Us visa appointment phone line was about 2 pounds a minute in 2003! Cost me 11 quid when i got the bill to book the apt! Jason and Alexis have been so lovely and helpfull!

Wow the waits almost over steff and vince - 11 months oh my goodness and i thought 6 months was a long time to wait! Have a great time u guys!

We are pretty lucky with Yummy doing a lot of the hardwork for us - like sorting out our background check and booking our visa appointment etc!!

Disney will def be worth the wait for everyone - whether its elevenmonths, six or three!!!

The waiting was definitely the worst part of the applicaion process!!

I remember just after our interviews in the Uk in November all you canadian guys started getting the calls of job offers and us Uk people were freaking out waiting for our calls :D Was an awful wait - but well worth it now i know Ive got the job!!!

Robb - am really excited and a little bit nervous!! Its a big step moving across the atlantic ocean for a year but I really cant wait - is understandable if people are a little nervous about it though!!!

Thank god us Germans didn´t have to wait for them to call us...that must have been awful!! The day we had the interview they told us to call the office in France two weeks later...so at least we knew the exact date...I must have been the first on to call that day...they said to call after 9 am...I dialed the number at 8.59 am, and I´m not even kidding...that´s how desperate and excited I was!!! :D

    Hey Gals and Guys.

In fact I was kind of lucky.
After the interview I was told to wait around 5 weeks.
I was totally histeric a few hours later.
Lucky, they call me a week after the interview to tell I had the job!!!

I didnt had to wait so long to know I was in.
The long wait has been counting the days till I leave.

    Thanks

    See ya
    Robb ;D
