The Commons *pictures*

Finally got the website to work!!!! Such cute pics i loved it - only wish i knew spanish so i could read all the memories and stuff!
Baruch - it said on one of your pics that one of your roommates was american - i didnt know americans were aloud in the commons... or maybe i misunderstood...

Awww disney costume party sounds like the cutest thing - dont know who id go as tho! But its gotta be done!

u know...  actually the commons is supossed to be only for internationals..  but when I arrived (oct '03 ) there was an american guy who stayed in there until Xmas..  when he finished his program...
then in January  3 more americans arrived to my apt..  and after one month  2 of them moved to Chatam square  and on of them, Ryan from wisconsin stayed  until june..   

believe is a good experience to share with them.. specially for guys like me who don't speak english as a native language.. and by the other hand they can show u the way they live daily in USA.. very different than in the fantasy land (orlando FL)...

don't forget  u can post in english...  actually we were talking about it.. posting in english so everyone may understand it...  we[ll try to change it from spanish to english....

Thats cool ugotta live with americans - it does seem to be missing the point that disney wont integrate us... but ive lived with americans b4 anyway so this will be a different experience! I think its gonna be so much fun to live with people from all over the world!

When I was part of the program it was a common thing that americans shared the apt.'s as well ( since American Advernture is one of the pavillions represented there ). But they don't hire as many young people as for the other pavillions of course. I think you would miss out on something if americans were only staying at Chatham and Vista Way. The only americans you meet are at work and you can barely have a good, deep conversation there. It was kinda weird to live with so many internationals and never really get to know people who actually grew up in the country you now live in.
It's also great for the americans, cause they can learn so much about the different nationalities, too.
